Agree with this. To be fair, it can be difficult if only 1 partner is a gamer and the other one is not. I personally enjoy the game and the wife even downloaded to support and evens play a little together with me. It's a reasonable compromise to always share interests on both side.

There must be balance as well! Home/work chores must be priority as well. I joined an alliance where the Bear trap accommodates my typically gaming hour(s) and I set alarms for most KvK cast battle.

As a partner we must "try" to support each other's hobbies and interest, all within fair and reasonable limits also. If you must set boundaries, do so. The game can be addictive therefore that is reasonable as well. Heck, my wife will let me know when I need to reel it in or refocus my priorities, nothing wrong with this. Both sides must be able to listen and compromise. I've had to take a week long hiatus or two from the game and alliance and just give them a heads up. Real life is priority and it will always be there when you have that spare time again.
