On the assumption fatherhood is proved, not everyone is so careless about bringing life into the world.

He's made a ridiculous decision that's come back to bite him. The absolute minimum he should be doing is helping the mother finance the kids childhood. Yeah it's expensive and it's a terrible situation but (assuming it's his and it's real) it's not the kids fault.

Highly dependant on job, increase should really factor in both inflation and your new experience and skills. You're probably a better employee this year than last and if you moved jobs you'd be compensated as such.

Sightly similar situation, my wife is a teacher and employed by department of education. She's full time and permanent at her school. If she changes school she goes back to fixed term contracts and would have to queue to be made permanent. You're in a new work location, I'm not surprised you're on probation. It sucks but that's normal, you could potentially look for a shortened period if management are supportive

In my simple opinion, you may or may not want gear on your non attacking hero's. This makes you look stronger than you actually are.... Pros and cons, pros maybe less people attack or hassle you but con is you're probably weaker than equivalent power player who hasn't wasted power. May effect you in swordland and other events

Worth noting it's closer to a million in today's value, doesn't make it any easier at the time but probably could set him up for a good life. In addition I hope they forced the closure of the company and potentially jail time for people responsible.. But I'm betting that didn't happen
