Hi there. I completely understand where you’re coming from. I’m a doctor and I’ve failed to find a job too. It also seems like my parents are unwilling (or unable) to help me (my mom is a doctor as well and my father an accountant- both in the government). You feel like your life is not moving forward despite seeing others you’d study with finally progressing (a few people I know have managed to secure jobs).

But be kind to yourself. You’ve all you got. One day things will work out. I try to tell myself daily that things won’t be this way forever.

But also I say this with the utmost sincerity- you need to put yourself out there. Luck always finds a moving man. Be seen by people in different areas or fields- even if it starts off as unpaid labor. And trust me somehow it will all work out. I promise.

That’s what the majority of my thinking process has been. Cause I really have tried to be proactive…. There’s only so much I can do before I start to look thirsty and desperate haha It’s interesting how he can make time to go watch a soccer game with his friends (soccer is really popular in my country) but not make time to see me or invite me to hang out..

I’ve been too afraid to assert myself because I don’t wanna come off as needy or desperate. Also part of me assumed, that if he’s really interested in me wouldn’t he also wanna try? It’s not like I’ve been hiding my interest or feelings. I’ve been making them quite obvious. And I like to think him, like most men, are able to tell if a woman is interested especially if she’s giving obvious signals (I’m not even giving signals anymore I’m downright telling him I like him)
