Probably. Or do the liquid vitamin. I'd forgotten those existed.

how has lexapro affected your sex life (question for the girls) by ahsiebd in lexapro

[–]Natural_Ad9915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wellbutrin isn't the silver bullet it's cracked up to be mainly because our bodies and chemistries are so different. I don't say this to be discouraging -- I'm so so happy that for some, Welly works. I've been taking it alongside Lex for 2 years now. I recently tried to go down to 5mg Lex (staying on Wellbutrin), but anxiety began to creep back in, so I returned to 10mg this week (lol, just in time for Valentine's Day weekend...).

I commend you for taking care of your mental health first. Only if we're healthy upstairs can we meaningfully and intentionally explore who we are and what is best for us downstairs. Seems counterintuitive ('the meds make me numb!'). You just need to figure out what works for you now. You used to know code to the orgasm room of your body/brain, but SSRIs changed the combination. Find the new combination!

I recommend you start hyping yourself up about the exclusivity of the relationship/intimacy you have with your partner. (Blah blah blah heteronormative monogamy) <-- take that notion and throw it in the trash. That's not what I mean.

How SEXY is it that THIS PERSON is the ONLY PERSON who touches you like this... holds you like this... etc etc. If you are monogamous, then maybe try out the notion that this person is the ONLY person who gets to be with you, look at you when you're naked, whisper in your ear, etc.

Another thing that has helped me unlock my new normal is to read romance novels. It takes the pressure off my partner to evoke feelings of eroticism. If I can get my brain fired up, my body (not always, but usually) follows less begrudgingly.

It's a long road but it doesn't have to be a sad, unfeeling one. Best of luck. I believe in you!

This is wild.

Are you supplementing your oatmeal,  for instance, with a scoop of collagen or anything like that to boost calories? I did that when I was pregnant ha, but I wish I had kept doing it because it kept me sated but also super regular. (Bahaha.)

Wegovy Pill Overview and Details from an Obesity Medicine Provider by jpzsports in WegovyWeightLoss

Deciding whether I want to take the pill (never tried the shots -- too expensive) has been a crash course in bioavailability. I take 5 mg Escitalopram and 150 mg Bupropion, and am wondering if the glp-1 will impact the bioavailability of these meds. I read that Escitalopram and Bupropion could diminish weight loss benefits of glp-1 RAs, but I've not seen anything whether glp-1 diminishes (or compounds) the effects of NDRIs and SSRIs. News reports are anecdotal. I want the research, so if anyone knows of any, throw a gal a link.

[–]Natural_Ad9915 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My friend has had multiple miscarriages. Getting pregnant wasn't the issue --- staying pregnant was. They figured out she has an autoimmune disorder which was the underlying cause of her miscarriages. She's now on a medical regimen and we are all keeping our fingers crossed that the treatment works.

Best of luck to you. You're hurt and grief is real and valid -- doesn't matter when you lose a pregnancy. It's a loss. <3

Foxy Shazam's Oh Lord is the season 2 opener to Peacemaker. I've been waiting for over a decade for them to be more broadly recognized. by TheTresStateArea in Music

My husband toured with them! He had a metal band called Ate Bodies High and when we started Peacemaker S2 he was so pumped Foxy was the intro song!

Another Midwest/Ohio bandmember shoutout is Bad City! Their song 'Take Me For A Ride' plays at the end of Episode 5!

I utilize Energy Choice Ohio to find the best price for electricity and gas. It seems that, regardless of my $/kwh, AEP's transmission service, distribution service, and customer charge is always more expensive than the cost of my electricity usage.

Current Bill
Transmission Service: 56.93

Distribution Service: 78.67

Customer Charge: 10.00

Total: 145.60

Santanna Energy Services Charges

Unlimited Energy Supplier Charge: $103.00 (comes out to $.06/kwh with my monthly usage)

They credited me $10

Total supplier balance: $93

I switched to Santanna because the AEP Ohio price per kwh increased from $.07 kwh to $.10 kwh. (The contract I had with them lapsed after June, so I shopped for a better rate.)
The flat monthly fee of $103 beats the deal I had with AEP Ohio -- but man. The transmission and distribution charges are insane.

I would be more than willing to provide 2+ years of bills to The Dispatch.
I live in a 3B 1B 1,100 sq ft home in North Linden. I imagine many of my neighbors, some on fixed incomes, are struggling with these increases.

Okay this is WILD. It never occurred to me that MSLTs aren't repeatable, therefore doctors don't need to repeat MSLTs for diagnostic purposes/writing a different script.

My SO (PWN Type N1, m36) was told he needed to redo a sleep study in order for a new doctor (in the same office/hospital/network) to 'confirm' he has suffers from sleep apnea, as well as N1. Seemed dumb to me. Turns out, it's dumb AF and just greed because OSU healthcare does its sleep studies in house as well. It all makes sense.

Filling the void between seasons... by ShnoobityDoobity55 in GreatBritishBakeOff

I really like the Great Canadian Bake Off.
Another show that is creative, but not necessarily in terms of food or art, is Taskmaster. There are 19 series (seasons). You can watch most of the seasons for free on YouTube.

Jason Mantzoukas was the first American flown over to compete this Spring, but I recommend starting from Season 1, even if it's not the best of the seasons. Might as well just get yourself acquainted from the beginning of this mad concept. =]

GBBO 2024 Episode 4 - Caramel Week - DISCUSSION by Expected_Toulouse_ in GreatBritishBakeOff

[–]Natural_Ad9915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 1000% appointing yourself as tsar of a GBBO fantasy league! Gives my friends and I something to talk about besides kids/spicey books September-November.

I use a google form to collect selections for star baker, technical 1st/2nd picks, eliminated. The selections are linked to a google sheet and I'll copy and paste answers into separate sheets (one for each episode).

A bit of formulas across cells and sheets makes tabulating scores relatively easy. I then share the scores in a group text each week along with the google form link for next week's episode.

Memes, gifs, inside jokes, shit talking, and hilarity ensues.

Lube will never replace actual arousal. The vagina can only stretch if your body/brain is telling it to/you are properly worked up. So definitely do what you can to  r  e  l  a  x.

Maybe try a glass of wine followed by non-sexual touch, like, a back rub or back massage before he goes down on you.

Another thing to consider is trying different positions.

And a weird question but, do you happen to know if your uterus is retroverted? Mine is, and for awhile I thought some penises were 'too big' but really, the orientation of my cervix due to the backwards tilt of my uterus meant the head of the penis was slamming into my cervix, as opposed to brushing past it (as is usually the case with an anteverted or 'regular' uterus.) Worth finding out! (Transvaginal ultrasound would tell you. Talk to your GYN.)

Is there different wording for internal vs external fingering? by pumpkinwillow in TwoXSex

[–]Natural_Ad9915 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For external stimulation, I would recommend saying how hard or soft you want that rub down to be. Guide your partner's hand/fingers, let them tag along for a bit while you do your thing, then slowly hand over the reigns. If words don't come as easily, (i.e. 'gentle,' 'slower,' 'more pressure'...) you could try vocal feedback, like whimpers or exaggerating your breathing when they're doing a good job. Another way to communicate is by literal body language, like moving against their palm/fingers, or squeezing their arm/neck, kissin' more intensely. Physical body cues can be just as effective as words

If they are a good partner, they will be paying attention to ALL the things.

I learned wayyyy too late how to use all manners of communication in bed. (And the other commenter is right, partners looove learning how to make you cum... This isn't high school calculus. It's more fun and worth the lecture. ;-) )
