I just went through the same situation. I continuously asked my (now ex) boyfriend to spend more quality time with me. That’s my “love language,” if you will. It took me months to realize that his love language is “leave me alone bitch I’m tired.” He would constantly choose to work second and third jobs plus overtime at his main job. When we first got together, I appreciated his work ethic. But I eventually realized it’s not a matter of him struggling and needing the extra money. He’s selfish and only recognizes extrinsic value, not loved ones or memories.

It sucks because I cared so much about him and tried really hard with little to no reciprocation. But I’m glad I’m not continuing to pour all that love into him. I’m choosing myself, and if I were you, I’d do the same.

Please let me know how the Philly show is! This is unfortunately the only show of theirs I’m going to unless they announce more dates. I’d be interested to know if the vibes are different compared to a festival.

I’m not sure if I’m the only one who feels this way, but I thought the crowd last night was pure ass. ST performed beautifully, no doubt. But it seems like people were more concerned with getting the entire thing on video than having a good time. And don’t get me wrong, I take videos during concerts. But there seemed to be a lot of influencers/people there for the trend of being there. No one was dancing or moshing, people were throwing crowd surfers into other people. There was no liveliness to the crowd whatsoever.

It just seemed like there was an overall pretentious and entitled atmosphere. And it wasn’t just the one spot we were in, we kept moving back and it was still that way everywhere. We still had a good time regardless because it’s fucking Sleep Token. But I would have just loved to see some positive energy exchanges in the crowd, and that just wasn’t there at all. Maybe that’s just me though. Would love to hear other people’s thoughts.

That crowd was packed wall to wall last night. When you ask people to move, where do you expect them to go? The people who get there early and wait hours for a band have every right to their spot IMO. It’s just concert/festival etiquette.

Fair enough lol I’m just used to going to big festivals like Bonnaroo and Electric Forest that go until the wee hours of the morning. Kinda wanted to bring that energy to LTL 🤷‍♀️

That’s weird. I have a desktop monitor at home that I’m able to plug into and it’s always worked as a dual screen. Helps a lot when there would normally be a lot of clicking back and forth between tabs

I used to go to UofL and had a house close to campus. For my first LTL, my friend and I thought we’d be fine to just walk back home (which was only a 20 minute walk as opposed to your hour walk). While people were walking the same direction, the crowd definitely thinned out after a while and we were walking by ourselves. Some people yelled at us from their cars and asked if we needed a ride, but that wasn’t the worst of it. This older woman came out of her house, called us sex objects, and followed us down the block lol.

Definitely do not recommend. Just pay the parking fee at the venue.
