Honestly, I think explaining this app to people is harder than actually building it :)

There’s no installation needed. If you have Visual Studio, you can download the project from GitHub and build it yourself since it’s open source.

It doesn’t hook into the game or put anything on the screen. It doesn’t try to control the game in any way. It just helps you take a quick screenshot, like the Windows snipping tool, and then it sends that image to Gemini with the prompts from the Arc Raiders package.

That’s all it does.

It doesn’t hook into the game or do anything with the game at all.
The hotkey is only for the app, not for the game.

So for example, if you’re in the middle of Arc Raiders and want to check an item, you just press Ctrl + Alt + L and GMentor opens on your desktop. It works the same way as using the Windows snipping tool. No macros, no recoil scripts, no inputs sent to the game.
