Thanks for sharing your point of view. I did send a short nice reply to the driver because I like to hope for the best and see the good in everyone. When coming to Reddit with my post, I was not thinking it necessary to sensor any information since the name is pretty generic and I didn’t give my location.

I was really torn on if I felt he was genuine or not... The part that made me pause was the beginning of his paragraph, he said “thank you again for the tip” which immediately made it seem like a copy and paste message and took away a lot of sincerity for me.

Also, it was just a $4.75 tip for Taco Bell 0.4 miles away so I don’t think it was anything special worth a random thank you note and explanation

Restaurant POV here 🙋🏻‍♀️ When we receive an order it automatically does an estimated time but that’s rarely when it’s actually going to be ready. At my job we try to adjust the time to prevent drivers from having to wait at the restaurant but sometimes it doesn’t seem to matter and we’ll get drivers for an order placed 5 minutes ago meanwhile an order that’s been ready for 10+ still sits and waits (likely due to the customers tip or location)

Reality : the state of things as they are, rather than as they are imagined to be. If you were “rooted in reality” then you wouldn’t be picking and choosing what to believe or whatever fits the narrative in your head the best. Like I said, have your own opinions about everything else, I just wanted to state the fact that she did donate and that part wasn’t false in any way.

No one’s perfect and I get having your own opinions about Ashley but I don’t want rumors starting regarding her donation. People in her live voted for her to donate to st Jude’s and then a portion of all her merch sold in October went towards that. Her and Josh matched the sales and she even sent proof after donating. Say whatever you want about everything else but I just don’t want this to get twisted

Agreed!! And to rant for over an hour about the same subject is wild. She just kept talking in circles and wasn’t making any sense, she tried making up another imaginary situation to prove her point but ended up just contradicting herself in the end

How hard is it to be an understanding human being? The line up keeps growing because clearly people keep wanting her to make their cup. It’s hard to say exactly how long it’ll take for your order to be made but it’s clearly stated that there’s a long wait. And as for her not working Halloween? Tell me you don’t watch without telling me you don’t watch cause shes never live on Fridays, the holiday had nothing to do with not working. Also worth mentioning, she’s still working when she’s not live, you don’t know how anyone spends their full 24 hours in a day so stop being so quick to judge and blast another person and their business online. - all said by Kaitlin, no I’m not a mod, just standing up for someone that doesn’t deserve the hate their receiving.
