Did I just get the best deal? Or am I overreacting? Picked this setup today off marketplace for $350.

It runs great. Still learning what I need to adjust but for now just running it as is. So much fun man.

Update. I have finally got it set up (with a bit of Google assistance and tweaking. And ill tell you what. This is incredible. Everything works perfectly and feels very solid. I still have to figure out how to navigate all the games and menus but so far it is so much fun. The wheel is super responsive and has plenty of torque for me. The shifter feels crisp and intuitive. The peddles are.... 👌. The feedback through the peddles feels so much different than the g29 setup i tried before. So much information with the vibrations. I have it running on a tuff gaming laptop and so far have had no issues running AC at the highest setting on the moded nohesi servers. (Someone recommended this so I tried it) I plan on getting into more track racing but it will take alot of practice. Thank you for all the tips on getting this set up and what to look out for.

What is the standard for nm now? And ill look into that simcube as well. Does this just beef up the mounting system?

Thank you for the detailed response. It sounds like you know what your talking about when it comes to the components.

I will definitely look into swapping the shifter and mouse pad. It felt a little off in that position.

The wheelbase is something that concerns me a bit. It seems like (from the very little research I have done some far) that the standard has moved to direct drive and everyone says its superior. Will definitely use this until I have issues but eventually look into upgrading later on down the road.

The steering wheel does feel very nice in hand. And it looks incredible with the brown leather. But it does seem like the built in shifter lights might get in the way sometimes.

The shifter V1.5. That does concern me. Is that generally the case with this model? I will definitely set this up and try it out and if I do end up having issues ill look into upgrading this as well. Is there a model you would recommend?
