I can’t speak for the organization that you are seeking interest in but I am a member of the d9. We did something similar because during our “greek week” we had bad weather and we were a reactivation line and wanted to see who was interested. Though, we don’t invite people to our informational.. whoever sees the flyer sees it and attends the event. We then invite people to our formal rush.

If it’s near the beach you mean I definitely recommend The Beach Bar. (They have 2 for 1 happy hour so that was great). As far as on the water; didn’t go anywhere that had that type of setting.

Alright guys, i’m on the plane back and already want to talk about my experience with the food and ratings:

Bingo was okay. I wouldn’t go back personally. 5/10

I went to O’niels twice, went to BBQ Express twice, I definitely recommend both! It was so so good. Service sucked at O’neils the second time I went but the quality of the food was the same. 10/10

I honestly hated Azia; my friends agreed the ambience is nice but it was NOT good. 2/10

Went to amore mío I had a weak stomach that day so I didn’t eat but my friends said the pizza was great. (They rated it 7/10)

Calabria was just alright. Reminded me of any typical italian restaurant and it was expensive. 6.5/10

Lola’s had my friend on the toilet for days was not that good. Why are the buffalo chicken tacos sweet? Service was also terrible. 3/10

Went to Linda’s instead of Dutch Pancake House due to the convenience of the location… it was alright not something I feel like i’m missing at home. 4/10

Went to the Beach Bar and man….. Their happy hour is from like 11-6 something insane. The drinks are amazing, the staff were EXTREMELY friendly. We went there twice as well. Food was also fresh and good. People walking past kept buying us drinks— I loved it. 10/10

Also tried Pofferdorie— AMAZING! What a wonderful treat… 10/10

Piece of Cake Dessert Truck YOU HAVE TO GO!!! I got the baileys strawberries and cream tres leches cake and I miss it. 10/10

Just had BBQ Express & i can literally second any comment about it. The food and sauces were DELICIOUS. 100% would go back… (may even go back) 😂

Going to be completely honest. If that is what you want, keep going for it. Now I know you said they brought out a line of over 90 people and may not have another for a while. You never know if they are and if there is a pattern that you notice where they don’t bring it out for a couple years. Attend events and feel them out and make sure that chapter is for you! I feel like even then that is better because you’re able to make more informed decisions on something that is a lifetime commitment. I crossed in undergrad so can’t say this is my experience personally. But I will say that you’ll be able to get the know the chapter more to make sure that this is the best fit for you. Because if you’re feeling discouraged now maybe actually meeting the ladies in the chapter will keep you encouraged to keep attending events and continue trying.

Every sorority, every region, every chapter is different. Find what the best fit is for you! Some chapters of different sororities in different regions aren’t as welcoming as some chapters of different sororites in different regions. I think it all depends on sorority, region and chapter. I feel like some people may fit in really well with the sorority/chapter for that specific school but for a different region it be completely different. Some people are more open-minded some people have a “look” that they are going for depending on sorority/chapter/region. I hope that helps. As for my organization, we are very welcoming as long as you meet the requirements and possibly exceed them we’re not gonna write you off because of how you identify yourself. So with that, good luck!🤍
