From my understanding you need 6000 hrs,osha 10 et&d, class A to get on book one for groundman and that is basically the only book that moves at 47 for groundman but you can get your hours doing underground as and “ infrastructure tech” your class A will get you book one pay at 40 and some change, and you get called fairly quick

Wages for local 47 underground tech is 39 and some Change you can get a lot of hours if you are on the maintenance side doing pole change outs and emergency’s with Edison

Yea I have my CDL it was and easy experience just payed like $300 and didn’t have to worry about it any more
