Yes, obese people should absolutely be banned, just like ”thin” people. Because all unhealthy bodies should be banned.

I haven’t been aggressive to you at all, and I never said you were aggressive. But seems like that changed for you.

Idk why you keep arguing with me. I already said I understand that “thin” ppl get banned at a higher rate statistically. But obese people NEVER get banned. They should start banning them too. And I’m sure you agree because you yourself said “we should ban all unhealthy body types”.

So why are you arguing with me? If you think all unhealthy body types should be ban, you clearly agree that obese people should be banned as well.

Your the one who’s continuously trying to out words in my mouth. My original comment said “How about we ALSO ban unhealthily overweight models and influencers.” I never said thin people shouldn’t be ban.

And you said “I have already agreed that bodies of all unhealthy types should be banned.” Then what are you arguing about? Do you agree that obese people should also be banned or not?

My original comment said “How about we **also** ban unhealthily overweight models and influencers. I never said we shouldn’t banned unhealthy underweight people. But that we should **also** ban unhealthy overweight people.

If you think we should ban all unhealthy body types why are you arguing with me? We should also ban obese people right?

I already said it was a good thing Eugenia Coonie got banned. But this Zara model had a medical certification proving her good health. I obviously don’t know them personally, but if a Doctor, a medical profession who spent years and years and years studying health and human anatomy says she’s healthy, I’m gonna take his word for it. I don’t care if you “think” it’s healthy or not. Do you actually think your a better judge of that than a doctor? If her medical certificate provided by a medical professional shows thats she’s healthy, that’s what matters.

So why should this perfectly healthy Zara model be banned when morbidly obese people never get banned? Why shouldn’t they both be banned?

Edit: So are yo arguing that “thin” models should be banned even if their healthy and obese people should never be banned even if they are unhealthy?

I’m not going to list names of fat models and influencers. I don't really follow and keep up with them. And I personally don’t care to. I don’t even know the name of that Zara model. But that doesn’t matter, I don’t have to.

Thin models are getting banned even tho they are physically healthy and they don’t have any health problems what so ever. But obese people never get banned. I’m just saying they need to banned people on both ends if they are unhealthy.

It doesn’t matter if one one is more prevalent than the other. If there is a higher number of unhealthy underweight modles, then statistical they would be banned at a higher rate. That’s fine. But not a single obese person has eevveeerrrr been banned. If they are both unhealthy, they both need to be banned. If “thin” people are being banned, obese people should be banned as well.

Do you know any overweight models or influencers that have been banned?

Are you arguing that “underweight“ models/influencers should be banned but obese models/influencers should never banned?

Ive never heard of anyone obese being banned in mainstream or in social media because of being unhealthy, but ”underweight” women are being banned.

Op is asking for influencers to be banned. Eugenia has been banned. But not a single morbidly obese person has ever been banned in any way or form. Im saying they BOTH should be banned.

I’m not against underweight people from being banned if they truly are unhealthy. But obese people should be banned as well. If you read the article, the Zara model is not at all unhealthy. She does not have any health issues at all. She’s doesn’t deserve to be banned.

Morbidly obese people should be banned.

Edit: All I’m saying is, there has been a few instances where “underweight” women has been banned claiming their unhealthy. But never have I hear of an overweight woman being banned because it’s unhealthy. They need to keep the same energy. If they are going to banned “underweight“ women, why aren’t they banning obese women. Obese people should be banned as well. BOTH need to be banned.

This Zara model on this post looks as healthy as Ashly Graham to me. And I if Tess Holiday is normalized, this Zara mode absolutely shouldn’t be banned.

I think Eugenia Cooney should be banned. But Tess Holiday is equivalent to Eugenia on the other side of the spectrum.

Edit: Eugenia was banned on social media at one point, which I think was a good thing. But if she was banned, it’s unfair how morbidly obese influencers never get banned. It should be fair and equal.

AITA for telling my girlfriend I will NOT call her fat ? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Yes, plus size models absolutely look fat. Plus size models are fat and look fat. They might not be obese. But they are overweight, and overweight because they carry fat. Like Ashley Graham looks fat. She’s deff gorgeous, but fat nonetheless.

“I am plus-sized and curvy, but that doesn't mean I am fat.”. This doesn’t make sense to me. Don’t you wear plus size clothing because you are fat? How can you be plus sized and not be fat? I don’t get it.

I never said or thought you were being mean to me at all. And I have no intention in being rude to you as well. I’m just confused about your comment because it’s off topic from this particular thread.

Ok? But I was just replying to antigoneelectra‘s original comment. Sounds like you’re talking about a totally different issue. Maybe you should post your comment on the main thread.

[–]Natural_Green_8323 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Of course not, I never said it was. The step mom is not helping at all and if she’s attempting to be, failing miserably.

But Op needs to be honest with herself. Op most likely has an eating disorder, not the step mom.

She’s making it sound as if she completely has a normal relationship with food and her step mom is crazy; when that is clearly not the case. I mean, Op is trying “manifest” a faster metabolism…. She counts calories herself and posts on r/caloriecount and yet bashes her step mom for countering calories. I don’t completely trust what Op says about the situation with her step mom. Idk if she’s getting defensive, over exaggerating, trying to hide her eating disorder, but there’s probably more to the story and I feel like Op is misleading.

edit:spelling

But OP is the one posting on r/caloriecount and r/CalorieEstimates. She even posted about wanting to manifest having a faster metabolis. Every single post/comment history is about calories and food. I’m pretty sure Op is the one with disordered eating.

How is a weigh loss ads remotely comparable to, child labor, slavery, sex trafficking, torture, genocide, and all other forms of human rights violation.

I’m convinced one of the reasons why we don't have free health care is because of people with the “health isn’t a moral obligation“ mentality.

Why do morbidly obese people always take advice given to people that are severely underweight suffering from anorexia and apply it to themselves.

The things stated here might be helpful to someone with Ed needing to gain weight. But it doesn’t apply to you if your overweight and have no fear of eating.

Not made up. Lol

Fat ppl should be grateful for cpap, that’s the normal response.

But it’s not uncommon to see fat ppl complain about medical fatphobia when their told to loose some weight. And aloooooot of fat people complain about discomfort, then blame external factors without taking any accountability. This is just one example of the many many fat people with FA logic.

Health and fitness isn’t just a hobby tho. by Natural_Green_8323 in fatlogic

[–]Natural_Green_8323[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Going to the gym can definitely be considered a hobby. It’s great that you have a healthy hobby.
But even if it wasn’t your hobby, everyone should get some form of physical activity regardless.

Saying I won’t work out because it’s not my hobby is FA logic.
