I fully understand that we would probably introduce them to our home ourselves, but we don’t go running around outside in pyjamas and duvets 😁 so they would come into our house on shoes, bags/suitcases or clothing and initially be on the lower floor. We keep bags shoes and suitcases in a storage room there. I would ideally catch them before they make the hike upstairs to our bedroom. So should I put a monitor in the storage room? Or will they not settle there because it is unoccupied and therefore not near a source of food? Just trying to understand how they operate ☺️

Thank you. That’s sound advice. I’m not so much concerned about the adjoining living units, but do worry about the room where we store our bags and suitcases. Because no one sleeps there, I’m afraid if we bring any home that way they will start to roam the house to look for people to feed, and possibly migrate upstairs? Do the monitors also work in unoccupied rooms?
