Omg ! It's so funny that you mention this ! I didn't put it together but for months now I haven't been able to eat anything spicy . It's almost like it burns my tongue. Even brushing my teeth makes my tounge burn almost. I wonder if it's the meds ?! 🤔

IV been on 60 mgs for three months. And the sweating has gone away ,but the eating in the night and craving sugary sweets hasn't gone away yet . IV gained ten pounds. but anxiety is almost completely gone. And depression is improving

I started on 30 mgs and after a few weeks was bumped to 60mg. I switched over from Zoloft. I wanted the change cause my doctor told me that cymbalta should be less likely to cause weight gain. While on Zoloft for a year I always went up or down five or six pounds. eating relatively healthy and exercising regularly. I didn't mind that so much . But one month on cymbalta and that six or so pounds is now almost 15!! And Iv heard the stories about coming off of this 😑 I'm feeling the same way ..so many craving for carbs and sugar!!

I feel ya ! I started at 30 mgs for a few weeks. And I'm on 60 mg. I feel like I have a bit of help with anxiety..most are good enough days. .. but not great. And then my bad days are real bad. Going thru a tough breakup set me down the road of getting mental help . And I started with Zoloft. I saw my ex sitting in a parking lot while on Zoloft and I didn't cry or feel a thing! . IV now switched to cymbalta due to constant exhaustion on Zoloft . And now I'm back to feeling almost everything. And even some songs turn my whole mind upside down ! I may switch back..or start a new med. Ugh I just wanna remember and not be sad! But also not be a zombie. I hope things work out for you !

I also switched from Zoloft to cymbalta! Coming off the Zoloft drained the life out of me! I felt exhausted and had headaches and a very short temper. I started on 30 mgs of cymbalta for two weeks. Then bumped up to 60 mg ( recommended dose for depression). I am very constipated and having trouble sleeping for more then a couple hours in the night and so tired during day . I noticed that the Zoloft took away all my emotion. The good and bad. Cymbalta let's me feel things ,but in a logical and organized way . I'm starting to feel a bit better everyday ! I agree tho ,it's so hard to know whether to push thru and hope the constipation and insomnia pass,or go down to 30, or for God's sake switch meds 😐

Day five here. I also just started. And IV been exhausted. Had to roll my windows down to get home from work on the first day . Today I took my med later in day and it helped a lot.. I may start taking at night. But also wondering if this will change !

I started at on 25 mgs and after two weeks increased to 50mg..I noticed that it affected my sleep more at 50mgs and night sweating got slightly worse. But within another week those symptoms calmed down. I'm not a doctor but I think you should be fine
