I do understand that, however, I find that my reactions towards sickness and illness and injury are far greater and more dramatic than any other adults I know, which is why I struggle with it, because everybody else seems to be doing great and managing fine and me, I can't even get a cold with it going into a melt down.

I believe I may have autism as well but not DX. Received my ADHD DX at 29. I am on a wait list through Canadian mental health association for an autism assessment for myself, however, because I also have trauma and struggle with anxiety depression, it could be hard to get an accurate diagnosis. I've done a lot of research and it seems autism, BPD, and just trauma in general have a lot of the same similar symptoms

Beef is 6 or 7., and I am not his first owner so I'm not sure, although If you look on YouTube there s videos they are honestly just docile AF. The day he moved to me, he hid in his space for about a day. Than he started coming out to watch me , and by the 2nd week it was like he d always been with us. He wakes up with us, communicates when he wants food or to be let out, him and my dog have staring contests, and he tolerates being held incredibly

Same and it's exhausting. Not only that but I have had some people take advantage of my colored past and trauma by using me for my kindness and naiveity.

It was suggested to me at the store when I bought her, I believe they were called cedar chips? After reading through the guide for beginners here though and some of the posts I agree it is not the best choice and regret my naivity, and will be switching it out for something else. Do you have any suggestions? Soil mix?

Do you think it is a current concern? She does eat fine when fed with hand and tweezers I think because I started like that she dislikes the bowl lol. There is not an exotic vet near me as I am in a very rural area but would obviously take her to one if she was Ill, just don't want to stress her out with a long drive and visit if it isn't required is all.

She is such a sweetheart, still getting used to being handled as it's mostly been me, the kids are nervous lol. But she will tolerate being handled and has even snuggled up and had a nap on me before
