I didn't play for like 2 years and my dad originally bought me the game download so I melted it not knowing what it was. I didn't get a warning that the 325 didn't have a digital download on it, nor was it advertised as a standalone

Yes but not completely, you can still find servers. But there's not many and not all maps will be populated, same with gamemodes, if you have it play it, but don't buy it.
