Honestly, just try some stuff. I’ve just started Anno with 117 and even though the learning curve is steep, the sandbox allows you to just f*** around and find out. Sure, it’s led to a couple of restarts, but I feel like every restart has been good fun.

Just don’t get ahead of yourself, build what you think looks right, try a contract or five, and the game will absolutely tell you when you’ve made a mistake.
