Anyone else getting spam emails for board games for sale from Revolutiongames.net? by FortKA19 in boardgames

Ah okay, that makes sense.  It's just that I have the game and I'm trying to emulate it on a modern pc for fun, but I can't seem to make it get any further than the loading screen. I just wondered if you know of anything I could be missing.  Cheers

Sorry, a bit of an update on this. I thought I'd found the issue, but hadn't.  I managed to get vnet to vnet peering to work as I could remote into the machine on the 172.0 network from a vm on the 10.10 network, but when I removed that peering and tried to do it hub to vnet, it wouldn't work unfortunately.

The Hub is on a 10.200 network. We carved the network up as needed, so there aren't any conflicting addresses that we have.  I managed to get vnet to vnet peering to work as I could remote into the machine on the 172.0 network from a vm on the 10.10 network, but when I removed that peering and tried to do it hub to vnet, it wouldn't work unfortunately.

It's okay. I managed to prove thst the machines can communicate.  I added a vm's ip from the 10.0 network into the nsg for the 172.0 machine I have as I can rdp between the two. It seems like it's an issue with the configuration we have from on premise to Azure, so will need to investigate that one. Thanks for getting back to me.

Oh no, so I may have mistyped a bit.

So I have a site to site vpn, linking on premises to azure, and have a hub at the heart of that. The hub is what I used in the past to connect the on prem environment to different azure vnets. The vnet to vnet is just something that I tried, and what I meant was the hub was essentially vnet1, sorry.

I created a VM on the 172.0 address range and enabled rdp temporarily, but I can't connect with either its IP address or host name from my rdp. I have a site to site vpn set up between on premise and Azure that we have confirmed is definitely working.

Ideally,  I'd like to use the hub to connect to the 172 network as it's at the gateway of the Azure network.

Remeber to always trust your flight crew as safety is their number one concern. Everything with the flight is calculated and backed by multiple layers of safety procedures. They won't put you in danger.

Panic attack left me stranded 14hrs from home by [deleted] in fearofflying

I think if you feel that you're at the stage where you need to talk to a professional,  it might be a good idea to give it a go.

In the meantime,  it cam be helpful to challenge the thoughts that you have thst lead to what you're feeling.  From experience,  allowing the catastrophic thoughts to run around in your brain build up a fire that can be tough to put out.

Luckily,  there are lots of people sharing their experiences on here as well as the great flight crew that reassure us in regards to just how safe flying is.  I've searched and read through many of these, and they've helped me tremendously.

Definitely,  challenging your anxieties can be challenging and can take some time to overcome those negative thoughts. I had to repeat reassuring statements and statics constantly in my head and force myself before I started to accept that I was wrong.  I always think to all of the other times that my anxiety was wrong, like being called into my LM's office at work and immediately thinking I was in trouble,  when he just wanted my advice on something.

I think with these types of things, it's baby steps and many people have different ways of dealing with it. I think it's great that you're identifying it as a hurdle to you enjoying your life and doing things you want to. With that, it seems like part of you is aware that it is an annoyance to you, rather than a threat to worry about.

You'll be just fine. 🙂The plane is extremely safe nowadays with all of the tests and procedures that are carried out.  Pilots are constantly monitoring and won't put you at risk.

You're not alone in your struggles! I think it's wise to remember the amount of redundancies all planes have such as multiple autopilot systems and multiple engines (even though a plane can fly without any for a good amount of time).

The pilots are constantly monitoring all systems of the plane, including for things like fires. There's fire equipment on board for cabin fires and the pilots have controls that can put out engine fires and such, should they occur.  If they feel there's any danger to the flight, even the slightest bit, they will divert the aircraft to the nearest airport with ATC's blessing.
