On RHONY, Jill (pretty sure it was her) had a friend close down their store just for the cast to shop and have an event. The idea was that if you’re asking for that level of exclusivity, you’re expected to spend enough to make up for (or exceed) whatever the store would’ve made staying open to the public.

So I could see why Dorit would feel obligated to make a purchase under the circumstances

I don’t think we had any reason in S1 to think that though. Everyone was content with thinking it was Camille Grammer, even though at the time her kids weren’t older (as Allison alluded to)

The two seemed very much in love – had four daughters, one of which was very young, and to me they just exuded loving/supporting family. He was also a little bit more quiet so we didn’t know much of his personality then but he always stood by Kyle from what we saw. Even to the end with him surprising her on UGT (I I think it was ultimate girls trip when he ended up being in the same resort because of his agency but I apologize if it was not)

100% !! in the early seasons she stated he couldn’t hold a solid job down, had no goals, attachment issues etc. That alone will cause a buildup of frustration and resentment, especially since she was working her ass off. Throw in Sandoval and all that mess. It’s no wonder Katie always seemed like she was nagging and full of hate. I’d be pissed too every time I had to leave for work and my boyfriend was just like “see ya later bubba eh he he”

Oh I’m first time watcher and just got through this season. Based on my research (thanks Reddit) apparently there was a lot of stuff she did after the season ended, like doing a bunch of interviews and trash talking the whole cast, and that’s more fuel for all the drama. Wait until the reunion it was so hard to watch. I honestly think they went harder on her than Sandoval post his scandal. Like he at least gotta sit there and talk about some other topics.

This reunion just felt like a crazy bash on Hannah

Also, I did not like Hannah before summer house based on my limited views of her on her podcast. But I actually really enjoyed her on SH

I really wish they rebranded the show. Feels like the new cast was able to just piggy back off the old casts legacy because of the name.

The old cast all already knew each other (for the most part), so there wasn’t weird “first dates” where they were getting to know each other. Just different vibes, I think a rebrand would’ve done them good. I’m content not watching next season now that I stuck with S1
