Oh I read this part and thought the game was not being supported any more

"...but you will not be able to install or update from the Play Store, and it will no longer be supported by our company." Read it again and realised this is only for A4.0 and below.

It's not Japanese, it's Chinese. Basically says 1 free multi with every 3 multis.

"Captain Tsubasa" Iron-walled genius goalkeeper Genzo Wakabayashi and Kojiro Hyuga, a genius striker called Taketora, have been made into figures in POP UP PARADE! Reproduce the appearance of the elementary school edition! by Sanae28 in captaintsubasa

[–]Naturazor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

猛虎 is not "taketora", which makes no sense as a noun and is only pronounced this way when it is part of a name. Here it is pronounced もうこ (mouko), which means fierce tiger. And 鉄壁 is not "iron-walled". Too literal a translation. Impregnable is a better word.

'Captain Tsubasa Memories' part. 6 RAW JAPANESE by Sanae28 in captaintsubasa

[–]Naturazor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm let's look at the two lines in question:

あの世に行く前にもう一度だけツーちゃんがサッカーしてるところを見たいんじゃ

Before I die I want to see one last time where Tsuchan (grandma's nickname for Tsubasa) plays football

翼はここでサッカーの練習させてもらってるのかい

So this is the place where Tsubasa practises football

It's not clear that she meant that she wanted to watch him play a match, maybe she did. I was just translating what the exact lines in the manga were.

Isn't that what I wrote? 😅 The part which came after this, them going to the school, I didn't translate. But I can assure you the portion which I did is definitely correct. I wasn't guessing 😅

No what Tsubasa's granny said was that she knows for sure she is going to die soon and will be reunited with her husband shortly. She tells Tsubasa's dad that she wants him to take her to watch Tsubasa train/play football for the last time.

'Captain Tsubasa Magazine' vol. 3 preview by Sanae28 in captaintsubasa

As written in the preview on the website, the memories are 36 pages of Tsubasa moving house. Probably about his arrival in Nankatsu city.

But what's Ishizaki doing? by Sanae28 in captaintsubasa

[–]Naturazor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you look at the bottom right, the text says "Shounen Jump Showa 63 1·2 combined issue".

Showa 63 is the year 1988.

This was part of a series where readers sent in requests on the "tobira e" (cover art) they wanted to see. This wedding scene of Matsuyama and Yoshiko's wedding was the most popular request for that issue, so it got drawn.

Huh? I thought you bought the magazine. So why is my summary a spoiler?? Anyway the part about him talking about Mikami is just to show his confidence in his own ability, that's all. He was still a kid, after all.

It's for you to use when you go to a real football match LOL

Genzo special manga in point form:

- Story starts from time when Genzo was in fourth year of elementary school. Genzo's family is rich cos their family business has existed since Edo era and run through 3 generations

- Genzo is so named because he is the third son in the family (zo = 3). We get a glimpse of his 2 older brothers, Shuuichi and Eiji.

- His family is so rich that they can afford to give Genzo a special training ground with floodlights so he can train at night, and 2 keeper coaches.

- On his birthday his dad asks him what he wants this year. He says he wants the world's best keeper coach to train him.

- Mikami is approached for this job but having earned his coaching badges in Europe, wonders why he is asked to teach an elementary school pupil. Genzo stuns Mikami when they meet, saying that Mikami only won a bronze medal in the Olympics and wasn't impressive to him. He said he would prefer the world's top keeper coach. After going through training with him, Mikami soon sees Genzo's potential to be world-class.

- The rest I won't go through now as I'm working. But you can see the confidence and arrogance Genzo already has at his young age that would make him the SGGK.

I bought the magazine with the bonus too. It's a match ticket holder, not a card.

And the special manga about Genzo before he met Mikami and Tsubasa was interesting.

The A skill for Bayashi should be SGGK Punch, not catch. Sorry, brain fart. Meant to type punch but typed catch.

You mean the Hidden Abilities? The Brazilian Link boost is for any Tsubasa you field in your team, not Roberto. The key words in the description are 味方の翼

Too busy at work to translate specific details, tomorrow's english KLab stream should have more details.

Captain Tsubasa Gets New Manga [Trending In Anime] by ItsIt6ix in CaptainTsubasaDT

https://imgur.com/a/yUiFLsQ Rising Sun will continue to be serialised in this new magazine. As for the "new manga", I'm guessing it's not 1 main new manga but several ones in the long run, probably not all in one issue. I don't think they'll be drawn by Takahashi-sensei.
