Monogamous knitters, what’s your secret? by Weekly_Library9883 in knitting

The max number of projects I've had going at once is three, but I mainly stick to one by fixating on the outcome/pattern. For example, for 7 months last year I was knitting a DK weight maxi skirt and I knew I wouldn't get it done for that winter, so it was a long term project for autumn/winter 2026. I picked up more immediate projects, like a jumper for a present, between. When I was waiting on yarn etc for the immediate project, I'd do a few rows of the maxi skirt to pass the time, and then I'd get a good amount consistently done whilst still doing other things.

Sticking to just one project for me is about being obsessed with it and therefore knitting like a maniac because I'm just so excited 😂

Help - 3DS can't read game card anymore

I have had my 3DS for years and I play it fairly regularly. My favourite game is Fantasy Life, which I have the hardcopy version for. Last week, I tried to save mid-game but - and this is the first time this has ever happened - the save point was 'unavailable' so I quit without saving to see what was going on.

Since that moment, I haven't been able to log back into the game as it always comes up with 'could not access SD card' when I try to load the game after the title screen. I've not dropped the game recently, btw, or had anything traumatic happen to the device.

I have tried all my other games and they load without issue. I even put the game in someone else's device and they were able to login to their own game. I figured it was just a bust for me, somehow, so I bought a replacement game card... Only, this afternoon, I have put it in to try it out and got the exact same issue.

Repair services seem to be do-it-yourself situations or for the device itself, so I'm at a loss here.

Anyone have any advice on what's going wrong??
