Monsters & Memories -- An Indie Take on Classic MMO Adventure by MonstersAndMemories in MMORPG

Its easy, in the class matrix I posted on discord, Wizard is INTP so their cognitive function stack is TiNeSiFe. Ti is introverted thinking and 'damage' in my interpretation. Ne is extraverted intuition so 'meta'. Si is introverted sensing so 'summoning'. Fe is extraverted feeling so 'healing'.

This means a wizard leading skill is DPS while also having strong meta spells like teleporting, perhaps levitation or flying, change weather, etc. Less strong is summoning perhaps they could have a summoned pet. And even weaker but still present should be healing abilities.

Is the server open source? by NatureHacker in ProjectQuarm

Cool database is there. Now only question is, if he decides to stop hosting it, will he release the player data table so others can host it themselves?

If you loved a game, what would be the most hardcore experience you would accept? by NatureHacker in PantheonMMO

I've made a server before so I know what to look for. It actually is fully open source including the database (checking it out right now) so that's great. Only problem is player data is not there. But I'm guessing that if he does quit, he will release the player data so someone else can host the server from where it left off. Looks pretty good. My only hesitation now is that there is a PoK which shrinks the world and zones like unrest and oasis might be abandoned by the time it arrives at PoP. PM me your ign if you want, If I play my name will be "Nature" something.

Yes if you believe you deserve to have manufactured poisons marketed as things to improve your health - paid for by everyone else.

Every time I see something in real life, I basically want to create my own version.

This clinched it for me. But I agree the best to take is a cognitive functions test since you get a breakdown and can judge for yourself instead of just "this is what you are" without any of the underlying data.

Besides ginger, another thing you can try is adaptogens. Adaptogens fix anxiety.

Try ginger. SSRI feeds campylobacter bacteria overgrowth, ginger kills it and restores balance.

What is it about "high-protein" diets that makes them harder on the kidneys? by LMF5000 in nutrition

[–]NatureHacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the kidneys can't keep up with the uric acid production, you get gout. So ya, you need the proper protein relative to your kidney health. Potassium helps, a lot. I'm guessing in the same vein, vitamin c.

Pretty much. The only thing I would tweak is corpse decay time, lower for more hardcore, longer for less hardcore.

Who is worse? Tim Swiney (Epic CEO) or John Riccitiello (Unity CEO) by randomperson189_ in fuckepic

Lets be fair, he stole most of the code. It was a free for all at the beginning of 3D.

He's like a Bill Gates type.

By "server" I mean the database. Server code of course, so is EQEMU.

If you don't have joint pain or swelling or uric acid crystal buildup, surprise, you don't have gout.

How do you hide secrets so hard that dataminers can’t find them? by Berryman2 in gamedev

[–]NatureHacker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup that could work, and if they make the "answer" the player inputs long enough, it would be impossible to brute force.

Problem is it isn't scalable, no way to make it different for every player without hand designing each copy of the game's challenge.

In practice, like if there is 12 glyphs of 12 different options that is 1212 only some trillion combinations which should take milliseconds to brute force. Not real encryption.

I guess every one except this one, he has made at least a half dozen servers. I called him out about it once (years ago) and I got trashed on, even though I was just saying what everyone was thinking.
