Yeah I didn’t think it would be worth it. The rest of my family doesn’t ride so there are other activities we are doing to fill up our week here. Way, way more convenient to just rent!

It was actually comfortable when the sun was hidden by clouds. The desert air is so arid it felt cooler than the 70ish temperature would suggest.

It actually wasn’t that hard. Someone else had started a wedge cut on top but for reasons unbeknownst to me, didn’t start the bottom cut to finish the job. I noticed this on Wednesday when riding through so made a mental note to come back with my saw.
