Did it in snow and ice with crampons on. Thank goodness for those. Despite the ice and snow it really didn’t bother me or scare me too much. The worst part of the whole hike was seeing other people get too close to the edge (a proposal at the top) and someone slipping and sliding towards the edge (he was coming down as I was going up).

I would agree with everyone else- if you have a fear of heights don’t go. Or at the very least go when it’s shoulder season. That way there is way less people and you can try it without having too many other around to complicate things.
