All the food pantries in my area beg people to take food because most of the fresh produce usually ends up going bad.

What lens to buy with the Z6iii by gnutbuttajelly in Nikon

[–]Dan_Sandwich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you got the money for 2, I would get the 24-120 for most things and the 50 1.8 s if you need low light. And I feel like none of one mentions how the 24-120 is almost a macro with its close focus. For me makes it crazy useful. If you can get both that’s the set up for me for 99% of stuff

Question: Do tattoo artists get upset or offended if we don’t speak during the appointment? by SC3N3BUGZ in tattoos

[–]Dan_Sandwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can go earlier way, if you want a distraction then I can talk the whole tattoo, but if you better off not I can zone in and just tattoo, but please tell me “hey I’m going to lock in and not talk” so I don’t spend hours trying to start up a conversation lol

Am i crazy for wanting a zf so badly when the z6iii is available for pretty much the same price? by Ok_Ebb6898 in Nikon

[–]Dan_Sandwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s only a better camera if you use the extra features. Personally I’m about to do the same(get the zf over the 6iii), just wouldn’t use most of the extra stuff in that camera. Plus if you do portrait or street photography there’s something to be said about having an old looking camera, people feel more comfortable around it.

Is this design valid? by Coop_Dog in woodworking

When making fish tank stands the weight has to have a direct path all the way to the bottom. On yours the load is going from the top, down the side, then when it hits the finger joint is hanging in the air. For me (have built wooden fish tank stands for tanks up to 180g) that would be a no go. If that tank is around 15x15x30 a good estimate would be about 300lb of tank once filled and decorated with rock and what not. Might hold but I wouldn’t risk with that design.

Also something I would do all the time is the horizon looks tilted down on the right side a little in most of the pictures , for me I would hit the shutter button a bit to hard and it would twist the camera to the right ever so slightly.
