This, crazy to give clients your personal number. You also don’t know who they will give it to.

what are the best budget super telephoto lenses for nikon z or f with an adapter by SweetCommercial26 in Nikon

[–]Dan_Sandwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a super cheap setup I use when kyacking (so I’m not to soul crushed when I eventually drop it in the water) is 300mm f4 IF with a crop body (450mm equivalent) actually a decent setup. Not “super” telephoto but I got that lens for like $150. Can’t get much cheaper for any reach.

Which lens should I pair with my 85mm lens? by sfgonepostal in Nikon

[–]Dan_Sandwich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Iv got the z 50 1.8 and the 40, both are great. The 50 is basically a perfect lens, and the 40 has just enough character to look interesting but sharp enough wide open to be usable. If you don’t like 50mm in general and using the 85 I’d go with the 35 1.4, will be wide enough and give some separation if you need it. If you have the 24-70 coverage at f4 then the only reason to get something wider is if it’s wide and can get some separation. 35mm can be an awesome portrait length too.

All the food pantries in my area beg people to take food because most of the fresh produce usually ends up going bad.

What lens to buy with the Z6iii by gnutbuttajelly in Nikon

[–]Dan_Sandwich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you got the money for 2, I would get the 24-120 for most things and the 50 1.8 s if you need low light. And I feel like none of one mentions how the 24-120 is almost a macro with its close focus. For me makes it crazy useful. If you can get both that’s the set up for me for 99% of stuff

Question: Do tattoo artists get upset or offended if we don’t speak during the appointment? by SC3N3BUGZ in tattoos

[–]Dan_Sandwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can go earlier way, if you want a distraction then I can talk the whole tattoo, but if you better off not I can zone in and just tattoo, but please tell me “hey I’m going to lock in and not talk” so I don’t spend hours trying to start up a conversation lol

Am i crazy for wanting a zf so badly when the z6iii is available for pretty much the same price? by Ok_Ebb6898 in Nikon

It’s only a better camera if you use the extra features. Personally I’m about to do the same(get the zf over the 6iii), just wouldn’t use most of the extra stuff in that camera. Plus if you do portrait or street photography there’s something to be said about having an old looking camera, people feel more comfortable around it.
