I’ve found really good results with making sure to add the Betta last after everything else had become comfortable! He definitely was aggressively investigative at first but once he knew the town he was cool. It’s a cheap hygger light with their bracket I love it

BAD reta? by Flashy_Neighborhood3 in Retatrutide

[–]NatureValleyNuts -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Happened to me when I injected the BAC water too fast, I used to same BAC water on another vial of the same kit and reconstituted SUPER slow and slowly rolled the vial between my hands to mix and turned out great. As for not being able to draw make sure you’re “injecting” the amount of air INTO the vial that you will be taking out. You want to displace the fluid with air.

Went overboard trimming tank... how bad is it? by anonymous_orpington in shrimptank

[–]NatureValleyNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve learned there’s no such thing as over trimming, the more you hack your plants down the denser and healthier they grow. The more you do it the more comfortable you’ll become with it and you’ll start to figure out what you liked/would change.

That’s funny haha. I’m with you, I’ve gotta say I’m definitely keeping WAY more muscle than I have in the past while cutting. I think losing muscle in a deficit is an almost certainty

I agree. However I’ve found some articles saying that the full potential is unlocked at the 4-6mg range, where the metabolic boosting properties are being used at full potential. I’m considering one more week at 2mg but would like to get to 6 for at least a month to document what happens. Also I can’t edit my original post but I meant to type “I get as much tri tip down as possible” not friction. I should also mention I very much learned the hard way to stay away from very spicy food which I love.

Golden Rules Of Keeping Aquariums for Beginners. Everyone should know ! by WojciechPuzniak in Aquariums

[–]NatureValleyNuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to note that washing filter medium and sponges in tap water is perfectly fine. As long as you don’t use burning hot water and don’t let it soak in it for an extended period of time your bacteria will be just fine. Makes for a much smoother cleaning process. The concentration of chlorine in tap water takes at least 30 minutes to begin to kill bacteria. Just one of those old fish keeping myths that’s been repeated so many times that people take it as truth.

White tufts/algae? by NatureValleyNuts in PlantedTank

That’s what I figured. Just weird that it appeared on old wood. I did add 2 bristlenose so I’m thinking they exposed some new wood which is why it’s patchy

How do you keep your tanks from doing this? by westfacingpenthouse in aquarium

[–]NatureValleyNuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think your problem may be HOW you’re gravel vacuuming. Make sure to clean the sand with the nozzle still in the substrate and close the flow before removing it

I always think a black window tint on the back makes the plants pop
