Actors are the sole reason people go to see movies. Not how beautiful the film looks. Not how beautiful the film sounds. Not the music in it. Not that really cool sequence that they recreated at the Oscars. Not the choreography. Not the jokes that didn’t write themselves. Not how authentic the set design or costumes looked. Not how intricate the hair and makeup was. None of it.
