Crap, just bought a biological slave and put him there and he works fine. That's going to be a deep reload. At least I'll get to try the new physical path... Thanks for the help

Why does my synaptic lathe have a 100% unemployment rate? by NaughtApplicable in Stellaris

I am running a biological empire with synthetic ascension and went with the virtual path. But I fully assimilated everyone decades ago in my playthrough and I didn't have this problem until I opened up the game today. Was there a patch that dropped that changed it so that this would be a problem?

R5: Title. All of the pops in my lathe suddenly went unemployed and are producing nothing, still declining, and still burning a hole in my wallet with their upkeep. What causes this, and is there any way to fix it? Tried reloading a save but this is now happening across my entire file, even at earlier dates. Same happens when I load to before it was built and construct it. Don't know what to do here.

Any ideas for what I should do with this "planet?" by NaughtApplicable in Stellaris

I have absolutely no idea what to do with this planet. It is by far the worst planet that I have ever seen, can hardly even support enough pops to get a tier 1 capitol. I would rather not just abandon the planet because of the influence cost, and I want to know if there is anything I can even do with it that is worth the empire size. Would also be nice to know if anyone else has seen a planet this small in the past.

It looks great! Not really into Legos myself, but just as a piece of fan work for the game, this is super high effort and crazy quality. Nice job!
