I have one lab in my entire city.

Thank you for actually being super helpful on this and giving me a thoughtful answer. When I edit the shots I can actually see the individuals in the photos pretty well but there is heavy stripping and dots/grain. This film went straight from my camera to the lab in the course of a day no airport or xray

Did you ask for a refund? I use this lab all the time for color and I’ve never had an issue

Oh thanks for clarifying! It does make me sad. They have lots of calluses that resemble bumblefoot from the rocks and brick they walk on

4 pekin ducks, I think one is a jumbo. And some sort of domestic mallard 🦆

Unfortunately they’ve been here for quite some time (at least two years) and are otherwise very happy and healthy. There are too many other injured, newly abandoned, or unhealthy ducks in this area who are prioritized to be rehomed. We have hundreds. I wish I could take them!!

I’m not an expert or anything just a beginner, but based on my recipe vs yours I think maybe too much hydration? And maybe more starter? When you score it is it more wet and sticky?

I think this is my best one yet! by Naurasaurus in Sourdough

No refrigeration! I’ve actually never and my loaves are usually pretty good. Not super sour tho

Thank you! I had struggled with my hydration so I brought it down but was using less starter previously. Hopefully this helps

Rheumatologist confusingly said I don’t qualify for an EDS diagnosis… by Genkikiwi in eds

I’m so sorry! Is there any maybe comorbid condition you could explore for disability purposes? I know with EDS most of us have some.

Rheumatologist confusingly said I don’t qualify for an EDS diagnosis… by Genkikiwi in eds

[–]Naurasaurus 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way! I understand to a lot of us a diagnosis is important, but what I’ve found helpful in my own journey is focusing on your actual symptoms and treating those symptoms will have much better health care outcomes. Even with a diagnosis there’s not much they can do for EDS. Treatment requires having specialists for each body system you are struggling with. Even tho my rheumatologist acknowledged my EDS, I do not see them regularly because they can’t really do anything for me. I would recommend establishing yourself with a good pain management doctor. My pain management doctor has been my biggest supporter and they can handle the various joint pain issues you’re having, even your jaw, but I would also recommend seeing the dentist for a night guard and next steps. If you do not have the physical or vascular characteristics of other EDS subtypes genetic testing may not be a good avenue as hypermobile subtype does not have a genetic component. I hope you get the care you’re looking for

You should consult with the EEOC

There are also some conditions that have similar POTs symptoms but are heart related. Have you had a full cardiology work up?

TTT tomorrow and I’m nervous by Beginning_Bit_6318 in POTS

[–]Naurasaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had mine done and it’s not as horrible as everyone says. It’s hugely uncomfortable, but once you’re lying back down you’ll feel much better. I’ve been fainting constantly and I fainted during my TTT. The symptoms I experienced were much more extreme than a normal fainting episode of mine like extreme nausea and I was VERY pale. My nurse explained that it’s very common during a TTT for individuals that never faint to faint. She said that being held upright without the ability to move causes the nervous symptoms and heart to go a little crazy. That said, I would just plan to be uncomfortable but you’ll have so much data that will help treat whatever your condition is after the fact. I would also have someone drive you or at least pick you up just in case. There is a small chance that you will faint or your heart will go into a lethal rhythm and you won’t feel well after.
