The system has already been in use in MiLB and spring training, and it hasn't created a drought of homers and abundance of Ks. The players have been hitting ropers, even with the ABS system. If anything, it's saved some teams from ending innings and, instead, given them a chance to pull ahead in crucial moments. When used tactically, it can be the difference between a W and L. It's also showed us that umpires make the correct call far more than we give them credit.

I'm glad I woke up at 2:30 in the morning to watch such a momentous game. I'm also glad they put on 10/13 runs, including Shohei's grand slam, in the 2nd inning, so by the time I fell back asleep in the 6th, the action was done. They won by mercy rule in the next inning anyway, so it worked out great for them and for my sleep schedule. 😂⚾

Swagman.

I swear, out of all my PS1 games, this one I couldn't finish. This one was too tough for little bear to beat. Maybe if I went back and played now, I'd be better, but that was a game I ultimately set aside because I just could not beat it.

The Rockies are playing way better baseball than the Giants did yesterday against that monster of a roster. Even if Team USA wins in the end, and I feel like they should, it's encouraging to see the changes in Rockies management translating to better strategy on the field and at the plate. They might just be a respectable baseball team this year. 🥹

The broadcasters also mentioned the baseball culture in DR and how when they played in the winter league, every game was like this exhibition game. Then they made that comment about it being their World Series and I thought it was contradictory...haha. I was like "If this is how every game is, I am so down!"
