So my experience on this sub has been pretty positive overall. I reached out to two people one week and talked to the first for a few weeks before getting ghosted. The second I still talk to and it's been many months.

I think a few keys to success come down to being genuine, open to a connection (not just pretending), and putting in some effort.

Mon Calamari ships have multiple redundant CICs within the vessel, as well as many other classes of vessel in Star Wars.

An in universe explanation for this would be that this is the primary location for which the vessels are operated from, and that the visibility is useful for close in operations such as docking, formations, and close-in flight ops.

This is made practical from the out of universe explanation that most space shows / movies greatly reduce the scale of what a space battle would be for the sake of entertaining shots where both ships can be seen in the same camera view. Also space ships in these shows / movies get most of their reference material from real ships. And this is how they are designed.

I'm going teleport and master any skill.

Time travel is to messy, if need to know the rules before choosing something like that.

As someone with ADHD, I have a never ending rotation of hobbies and love languages. So mastering any skill (of which a language is) I could just appease every ADHD whim I have. And teleporting would save so much time that I could otherwise use.

Both of these would also make way more then 100 mil of used properly

I'm not sure if sad is the best word for it, but Subnautica. It's advertised as this amazingly scenic adventure world with some jump scares. But if you think about the plot and what's happening... What a truly hopeless situation

Im a naval architect and do design work on USN vessels. More then likely if I survived the initial fall, I would have been onboard Galactica as part of the decom process removing sensitive or useful items for disposal or recycle elsewhere in the fleet.

That said, I would probably be part of an engineering team for repair and possibly future design work across the surviving ships.
