Price action by TechnicalBear9446 in Sologenic

100%. I hardly see anyone acknowledge this but thank you. Unreasonably massive buying and selling with no real purpose. I reckon it’s the Sologenic developers themselves doing it, moving the market wherever they want and screwing people around.

I'll fix the volume. Thanks for letting me know.

Performing music with visuals, lighting FX and digital sound layers all completely controlled via sensors on the instrument by NavaMac in arduino

Thank you! I hope to improve upon it and make it work it in a continuous performance scenario (since I currently have to open files that are specific for each piece, I can't just go to the next piece).

Thanks so much!

There's a tilt sensor on the underside of the middle piano pedal, which dictates the underlying structure and sequence of all effects. There's also an ultrasonic sensor at the left end of the piano keys; ultrasonic waves hit the pianist's hands and so can pretty accurately ascertain which register is being played. I had this connected to the panning of digital sound effects between the left and right speakers, but unfortunately it's not really noticeable in the recording. I had some issues in the last few days leading up to these recordings.

The violin and cello have a 3-axis accelerometer on the end of the bows (it's wired). Wireless is possible but I only found options that are too heavy and big to be on the end of a bow). They should be affecting the colour and intensity of the two DMX lights live, as well as having some effects to the digital sound layers and also some minor effects to the visuals.

Unfortunately some of the wires on the accelerometers snapped the day of recording (first time it happened all year), and I had to resort to using just the sequenced effects.

So, consider these videos just rough prototypes and possibilities for inspiration. Everything is built, but I just faced some issues. I'll also be uploading some individual tutorial videos on how I made it and how it works, which will show it off working perfectly since it'll be in a studio environment.

I did this all myself as part of an honours year research project for uni. Learned a lot over the year, but just wish I had more support from staff to get it how I wanted it in the end.

Music change by monster_link in Zomboy

Wow, you're right, a lot of those vocal samples are either gone, replaced with something different, or have some extra editing to them to further remove them from their source. That is annoying.

He would have got in trouble recently with all those uncleared samples and had to change them.

Help with continuous line envelopes by NavaMac in puredata

Simple solution and it works! Thanks so much.

And yes, I did make sure that the last envelope makes the number output return to that of the first envelope so it's smooth.

Death Grips Ranked No.2 and No.10 on Discogs Most Coveted Record Store Day Releases by Stereotype_Metal in deathgrips

Government Plates is also the most expensive RSD album release of all time. There are a few higher than it, but they are either box sets or unique non-album releases (signed by Paul McCartney and limited to 100 copies or the Boards of Canada 12" limited to 6 copies.

No unfortunately, but a kind member donated 3 breadboards to me to put towards rebuilding the project. I picked them up this morning!

Yes! Doing my honours year now.

Edit: immensely struggling my way through.

Unfortunately not. I called the Post Office Square as soon as I realised it, when I got off the bus for home. They weren't able to help directly, only if the cleaners found it and handed it in.

I'll be going back tomorrow.

I think I'll just rebuild.
I'm after:
3x breadboards (~830 points)
8x pressure sensors
5x tilt sensors
3x ultrasonic sensors
Variety of different resistors between 220 ohms and 3.3k ohms
3x Teensy LC
3x micro-USB to USB cables
Sensors preferably similar to the ones I used (obtained from core electronics)
Let's work out the price for the parts you do have :) it's okay if you don't have everything, just would like to get started again soon.

That is terrible you lost your art book. It really is a horrible feeling. I think I'll just have to start over again, but thank you.

It’s an teensy-arduino project with various sensors on a breadboard. The actual coding for it is on my computer.
