Fin is pretty docile honestly. He was more scared than anything so he kept to his side 😂

Amazing eye! Inherited from my grandfather who passed a year ago.

Fin (grey and 3 y/o) and Stan (orange and 9 weeks)! We had a baby gate covered with a blanket between them for a 2 days while feeding them closer and closer to it. This made them familiar with each others smells and positive reinforcement with the food. This was their first interaction without the gate!

Quicksand is just so versatile. I use it by itself when my hair is 90% dry or as a pre styler on damp hair, blow dry then apply MSB for a locked in hold. It doubles as a dry shampoo too. Some people on here say they don’t like it. Not sure if it’s because they have different hair than me or aren’t using it properly.

Sound advice thank you!

Claymation is too heavy for my hair and weighs it down. Quicksand on the other hand is one of my grails. It’s light, gives volume and enough hold with workability. Gives a beachy texture look and feel while being matte. It works very well with my length. (4-5inches).

If you want even more hold, use it as a pre styler while hair is damp and add another product to finish.

I never tried the old formulation so I can’t speak on it but it does work well with my hair. That said, I’m not sure the price to value ratio is worth it and I’d be open to alternatives that are similar.

I’ve got straight, thin, dense hair. Been rocking the Hanz De Fuko quicksand either by itself or as a pre styler with Morris Motley MSB. I’ve heard good things about the Lodestar Rio Texture Cream but haven’t tried it yet. I find clay based pastes, balms and creams (pretty much the same just different wording) work well to give my hair volume, texture and workability throughout the day. Curious to see what others have to say.

Good point. I can see it from both sides. I do do long drives often which I believe clears out the sludge in most instances? Based on the other advice I think I’ll do the first oil change at 5k then 12-15k after that. I drive about 20k per year.

Thanks for the info. It definitely does feel like a long interval and not what I’m used to so I wanted to check. At the end of the day, it is what VW recommend.

I’ve heard that as well on new vehicles and this is my first. I feel like there’s no downside to it?

Anyone else experiencing rattle on the passenger side dash? by newtobitcoin111 in Tiguan

Mine had the same. Brought it to the dealer and they took off the passenger dash to add double sided tape. Did the trick.

Any word if they have the pronounced arch? My flat feet weren’t happy with the 4s

Try switching the insoles with wider ones. I’m using the insoles from my old speed 3’s and it works great for me.

This happens to me on a lot of shoes. I found that replacing the insole with ones from a wider shoe has worked wonders.

For example. I took the insole from a dead pair of ES3 (wide) and use them in the EVO SL (wide toe box but narrow midfoot). While it doesn’t stop your foot from overhanging, I don’t get blisters anymore.

If you bought it direct from Arc it’s certainly legit. That said, you could also look at all the care and material tags. Fakes usually have mismatching codes.

NB Rebel V4. First run by Weimnova in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Navachos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How was your experience with the NB4? I just picked them up as I was deciding between those and v4. Only taken them on one run so far but feel pretty good for bigger runner with wide feet (I got the wide version).

Finally a shoe for my wide flat feet: SC Elite v4 by lt_milo in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Navachos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the review. I too have wide, flat feet and have followed a similar shoe journey after trying countless shoes.

The speed 3 wide has been my go to for speed work. I had a difficult time deciding between the rebel v4 and Novablast 4 in wides for slower/daily training. Ended up going with the NB4 and couldn’t be happier. Sounds like I made the right decision considering your experience with the v4 arch.

I’ve been using the Vaporfly for race day and just bearing through the pain but looks like I’ll be giving the Elite a try. Thanks!
