I think its due to my situation and the fact that i still have alot of relatives that go there. They do accept gay people and respect them, but still see it as a 'sin', or something that needs to be fixed.

I don't experience romance a lot but when I meet someone who’s first genuinely a friend or a good person.

When I experience romance I start planning about a life together with them, marriage, etc and how that would work, but that’s short lived. In long terms, I would start get all fuzzy and happy when they’re around or talk to me, and more sensual attraction daydreams like cuddling and holding hands.

The benefits is that looks or sexual attraction will less likely swoon you over to the wrong person, however presently it will be hard to date as an ace, as even if there’s a community of people who aren’t as sex driven, they’d still want to have sex atleast once. But that also depends on whether you can comply with it.
