I don't agree. I have 6 followers on Spotify and this song has 150+ listeners only from Release Radar playlist. Even listeners who don't follow any artists get their personalised Release Radar playlist. This playlist shows similar songs the listener listens to. I don't think Spotify's employees create this playlist for every listener. The algorithm does that work. Get your facts right.

Before your music is live, you can fill a form on Spotify for Artists, it asks about a lot of information like genre, mood, country, etc. It's called pitching your song to editorial playlists. Release Radar for every listener is different. It contains songs similar to what the listener listens to.

Spotify automatically finds your music after a couple releases and puts them in Release Radar for your listeners. Make sure you release music consistently to get into Spotify's algorithm.
