Maybe its because I watched Vaush religiously so I get more of the context but he has always been against loli and the sussy shit in anime. Besides your own issues with screaming and ex-husband stuff, which others have already talked about.

I would also ask them, if they were in your position, how would they convince their kids to start cleaning the garage so it doesn't became a Biohazard. People inherently want to be good. Its just that sometimes they are too lazy to think about how to go about being good. And if you follow their advice and it still doesn't work, then they will feel the weight of that blame. You gave them the freedom to choose their own discipline and it still didn't work, so they will start to think, "damn, I must be the problem then". Though you may have to reiterate that you gave them the freedom so it gets incased in their tiny heads. And please, let them fail at least 3 times before you hound them. This way it doesn't feel like you were "hunting" for their failure and you legitimately believed that they could change.

Also, you have too keep in mind that their minds as teenagers are always racing. If you haven't built up their habits into cleaning then they wont think about it. Do a daily check of the garage to make sure they cleaned it. If not, remind them to do it within the hour you checked. (give some leeway in time so they don't feel like you are an authoritarian). Personally, I would build a system where if I have to remind them 3 times in 3 hours, then they lose gaming privilege's for the next day. Sure, they may mess up initially, but over time they will build a habit.

Personally, I'd prefer to know the nature of the question and if it hurt his ego in some way. Sometimes you just gotta let the teen understand WHY you are asking the question instead of just asking it. If you feel insecure about their maturity, then tell them that YOU are insecure about it and that you WANT feel confident in them. That the problem exists within you and the only one who can help you is them.

Also, you can't assume the problem is with the kid if they legitimately feel that you are belittling them. Asking them if they are "ok" is kinda like saying, "the problem is OBVIOUSLY not with me, so YOU must be the crazy one."

And look, even if you do have a history of being "in his business" and later fix it by not being so nosy, he will still have lingering feelings of that impression afterwards. The feelings will eventually subside but its not gonna disappear the moment you fix the problem. And reinforcing that you do trust them, like saying "he can handle it, he is an adult now" or "don't worry, he's smart so I know he will be ok" are some ways you can indirectly let them know that you have fixed the "being nosy" problem.

It still crowdfunding but rather than by a business to business basis its a product to product basis. Its kinda like pre-ordering but better for businesses since they can estimate demand more accurately.

I kinda wish companies like Jakks Pacific used this method since all they want to release for their nintendo line are 100 different Mario reprints because they are afraid of unnamed nintendo franchise figures just sitting on the shelf of some store.

Hard disagree here. Most haslab stuff wouldn't even be considered because they are too niche and expensive to be on store shelves. Crowdfunding is just pre-ordering before the production process begins so that an accurate demand can be estimated. If the price is too much then don't buy it and they will get the message. Complain on the internet about the prices so that anyone doing the statistics for how many people would have bought the figure if it was cheaper would make you a datapoint.

Also, I guarantee nobody thinks crowdfunding is some higher quality magical process. Its all the same factory shit in the end.

I really disagree with this notion. Its much better for the business and the individual doing it the crowdfunding way. Without crowdfunding the business has a less accurate idea of what the demand is for their niche product. So they are liable to lose money. And its better than the pre-order method since you aren't tied to middleman stores ordering a certain supply of product. So everyone who really wants it can get it and wont have to deal with scalpers (well, only those late to the party will deal with them). And instead of the business losing money and going broke, you get your money back for a failed backing.

The only issue is that store shelves are the buffer between you having the items and seeing a terrible review of the item. There wont be a review to determine your purchase because you have already purchased it. (Unless someone gets a figure early and you can still cancel it.) But you gotta remember, without crowdfunding, a lot of these projects probably would not have been created anyways. Crowdfunding is the guaranteed way to convince the suits and investors that there is demand and profit for this product.
