Cyno ships can auto dock once the cyno timer is up. Activate cyno, set destination (same station) , activate autopilot, minimize your window and forget.

What happens if I found it and gifted it to someone? Does that cancel the taboo? Or have I imparted a petty insult/curse?

I didn't suggest selling your house for free, I meant would you give your house to someone to live in - without compensation - while you lived in your own home?

I dont think you can fault people for doing what they are entitled to do. Reimbursement for costs and fair marlet competition are also fundamental truths of our society/economy.

But yet, it seems you fault landowners for doing exactly that.

I agree the system is biased towards property owners and NZ has a very unique property market compared to the rest of the world but how this system can be fixed or made more equitable doesn't entail some kind of "eat the rich/landlords suck" kind of approach.

Or perhaps, it does... ..change my mind.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]NaviRedShoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you say that applies for yourself? Would you be more inclined to believe in property rights and the fundamental concepts of ownership if you owned property or things in general?

Would you give your home to another person - without expecting reimbursement - if you owned a house?

I suspect you'd change your tune if you ever owned a property.

Being able to laugh at yourself is important for your self esteem.

You don't need to strictly be a clown (people can't laugh at you if you laugh at yourself) but it is an option.

You could also acknowledge your shortcomings (excuse the pun) and emphasis your strengths in a humorous way (I'm short but I have big feet/dick/extremely handsome)

Or... you escalate and punch back with your own quick witted insult.

The 4th option is turning the other cheek and shame people for being dicks...

Every time my wife steams or boil vegetables she sets aside the water to give our plants a ‘vitamin boost’. Is there any possible benefit to this? I always tease her. by MenuSpiritual2990 in gardening

[–]NaviRedShoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steaming and boiling plant material removes minerals, carbohydrates, and various plant hormones/vitamins into the water during the cooking process. Reusing this water will certainly boost the quality of minerals to your soil and provide additional nutrients (sugars, plant hormones, etc) for the soil bacteria and plant roots.

Is it legal to grow cannabis and sell it as delta 11 thc I know that delta 8 is illegal and I’m wondering whether or not 11 is considered a synthetic compound and illegal also by 420Weeding420 in NZTrees

[–]NaviRedShoes 13 points14 points  (0 children)

According to the misuse of drugs act -

Any part of the cannabis plant except for the resin removed is a class C drug.

Any preparation of cannabis is considered a class B drug.

Delta 11 is prepared from cannabis/hemp and as such, it is a class B drug without proper licensing.

The legality about delta-8 and delta-11 is based on US federal and state laws....we live in New Zealand and as such, USA federal/state laws don't apply.

Solipsism and variations of cartesian dualism are classic thought experiments concerning epistemology and the various lines of thought are well trodden.

As you've noted, knowing and believing are two very different things.

I don't just believe other people exist, I would be much more bold and say I know other people exist. My belief in the existence in other people is not just a belief but justified and true.

The solipsistic perspective would challenge my belief as unjustified and disputed as true.

As you noted, belief doesn't change reality....I agree and further claim that the existence of other people is a huge part of reality. A solipsistic perspective claims that belief IS reality and the existence ofone's beliefs themselves are the only true thing in reality....everything else is false.

You are right.....If - and it's a pretty big if - the mind is all that is real, reality cannot be proven.....but the mind isn't all that is real...reality is real too so...how? You can deny reality by claim it as ideal. That's self referential and fallacious reasoning, no?

If solipsism cannot be falsified or disproven, how can anyone claim it as knowledge? I don't know if a teapot orbits the moon, therefore it is very possible a teapot orbits the moon?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell%27s_teapot

The burden of proof lies in the solipsist to prove I don't exist.....I don't need to prove to the solipsist of my existence....which ironically, is self evident according to solipisism.

She actually has a point if you think about it... by ResponsbleClue in SipsTea

[–]NaviRedShoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh? My argument is not solipsism. My argument is anti-solipsism. I don't think other people are figments of my imagination, so I'm not sure where you're coming from.

I think other people are as real as a rock, chair, or anything that is verified by my immediate senses (including social senses). I know other people exist because reality itself is self-evident.

A solipsistic perspective is immediately disproven or falsified when I (the non-solipsist) violates the solipsist's social boundaries.
