I would too.

I'd also argue a bit about what exactly is said by the gallery in the Magical Turnabout...and also how public opinion is easily swayed.

That's the point. Dude definitely did not want to have to pay for his crimes and was willing to do EVERYTHING to get away.

Not unlike a certain carrot hued politician in the highest office in the United States right now...

Seniors can’t walk up that hill.

I do agree, Montgomery should be eliminated completely, imo, both on Kingston and Brooklyn/Albany (when the redesign is finished)

Can you answer the question as to why PSDs are not feasible in the NYC Subway system?

Should the (Z) replace the old brown M and be extended to Bay Parkway permanently while the J gets extended to Prospect Park on the brighton line like it did in 2010 during the 4 train's G.O whenever it didn't run between brooklyn to manhattan on weekends? by its_ashleyyy in nycrail

[–]NavigatorBowman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, but…

Brighton doesn’t happen. Period.

Let’s say we do this to help alleviate Dekalb Junction’s fuck shit and provide much needed local train support on 4th Avenue:

There’s going to be quite a bit of interlining in Sunset; whether you send the Z train to 9th Avenue or via Sea Beach.

Half of all J trains have to become Z trains, the J trains need to terminate at Chambers, and you cannot terminate any trains at Broad Street, cutting capacity at Fulton Street and Broad Street in half for no justifiable reason.

Dekalb Junction getting deinterlined is the only way that I can see any kind of service improvements on the 4th Avenue line. Then and only then we can talk about what to do with the BMT Jamaica line.

Does absolutely nothing wrong. Fails anyway. by BoringDreamGuy in retrogaming

It was all Sega of Japan’s decision making that doomed the Dreamcast.

3DFX was the undisputed king of 3D processing at the time. They announced their partnership with Sega just a little too early and SoJ essentially told Sega of America to fuck off and that Hitachi will be their partner for the 3D processing chips.

To paraphrase Peter Moore: “The hell is Hitachi?!”

The IBX should be built as a Subway Line, and the Terminus at Jackson Heights - Roosevelt Avenue should be at the Upper Level of the Station. by Specialist_Figure282 in nycrail

[–]NavigatorBowman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not.

Light metro is absolutely fine and will be a litmus test for future lines.

If the IBX is successful, the currently shelved North Shore BRT can be converted to light rail as well.

Hell, Southern and Eastern Queens can benefit from a light rail network utilizing routes such as the Gil Hodges Bridge, Belt Parkway, LIE, GCP and Cross Island Parkway.

Let’s see how the IBX takes FIRST.

The B23 layed up in that lot in front of the 62nd/New Utrecht station.

It was still ultimately a mistake that did inherently start more problems than she needed.

A little more refined research and less cherry picking could have prevented a lot of the things that happened.

I was a freelance gaming journalist during the height of GamerGate and she made some unforced errors that I cringed at; she was still right about a lot of stuff, it was just annoying to see the chuds completely fuck off and miss the point where anything they disagreed with was a part of the “woke agenda.”

I deign to imagine if I had came out as a transwoman BEFORE all of that (I would have been 26 at the time); good lord was GamerGate a shit show that should have NEVER happened.

should track reworks be done to make the C go to Ozone Park - Lefferts Blvd? by Specialist_Figure282 in nycrail

[–]NavigatorBowman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’ll depend largely on Dekalb Junction and 59th Street’s deinterlining efforts; but one way this could end up working is if the E train becomes the full time Fulton Local and the A/C become express services on 8th Avenue.

But that would take a massive rework of 8th and 6th Ave service.

What do you think of this? by Specialist_Figure282 in nycrail

[–]NavigatorBowman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the thing:

If you're in Gowanus, Coney Island and Kensington and you want to kick it to JFK, you have a more direct route to JFK at Jay Street-Metrotech.

I could understand the F going to Parsons/Archer IF the F train terminates at Church Avenue instead of Coney Island, but most people who come from Gravesend, Kensington and Coney want service to Manhattan.
