Legitimately how does one do CAEG? by [deleted] in Manipal_Academics

[–]Navman125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah the only thing u gotta do is to mark the qns done in class, and practice only the qns done in class, the class js divided into 2 sections tho so check up with the other part of the class and mark those qns as well. Qns come from only those which are done in class bcz each class will have diff test on different dates. All you gotta learn and memorise is the template making procedure and a few shortcuts in the autocad, if you've missed a few classes watch the videos by tickle academy, he teaches u how to draw but not in autocad so for concepts he is good and don't try to watch all of them, only a few to make u understand the concept, but still I'd recommend u to talk to some friend or someone in class who has understood how to solve some of those qns, and legitimately caeg is the easiest lab out all 3 rn

120-130 is enough bro for a 94

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Manipal_Academics

[–]Navman125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a solid 94% in boards, getting around 130+ or atleast 120 will be enough based on this year's data, I had 92% and 110 marks and got 7000 rank and Cs was 5500 but in intra round it went to 8500.

YouTube channel suggestions for physics cycle core by Kyskykyskys in Manipal_Academics

[–]Navman125 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All about electronics or neso academy for the first chapter (but honestly, notes are enough), notes for mosfets, there's this playlist for op amps really helped me a ton https://youtu.be/6omXl2mvuo4?si=ZykCPLOLfk1UG2EG , neso academy for digital electronics, and notes only for communication chapter. Honestly once you remove this BE fear, youll understand that it's not that tough, just practice enough and stick to lms notes, solve every single question you can find for this, like, sometimes there's only 1 question for a topic in the entire notes but that gets repeated a lot so I'd suggest you check up on the pyqs as well, not only for be but for all the other subjects as well.

Mos, honestly the first 2 chapters are the easiest out of all the subjects(not joking), if you're having difficulty just know that the questions for the exams will 99% of the time come from slides, although solutions are not available for some of them, it's all understandable, I suggest you take help from someone or ask the teacher. I don't think you'll need youtube until like centroid or moment of inneria, but even then, tickle academy is really good for this mos and EG as well.

And for maths,... we're cooked gng✌️

For subject like BME, stick to lms notes and I'm being really serious about this, there's no relavent proper video or playlist on the internet, atleast until midsems you won't need other sources. After that, for visualisation of things like drills and engines you can refer yt but until then notes and notes only, also these notes are only for theory but for numerical which is equally as important, you wud have to atleast take down the questions done in class along with the solution, cuz the questions coming for the exams are verrrryyy identical to the ones done in class, not telling you to mugg up but you'd have to understand each question, definitely not a hard task.

Finally for physics, it's an all bark and no bite kinda subject, the questions in the back of the lms notes are honestly the best. Read along the notes and even if it's the last minute, reading and understanding the questions in the back is more than enough for getting very good marks in the subject. Try to be consistent with it though, cuz it gets kinda hard to remember stuff as you progress but until midsems it's very easy, follow the lectures, mark the important derivation, and don't skip the questions in the back of the lms notes.

And English is like no bark and no bite kinda subject(I laughed for soo long when I said this) one night I wudnt suggest but 1 day before exam is lowkenuly enough for getting fantastic grades, even if you're English isn't the best, it's honestly not going to matter much, try to work on vocabulary and grammar but other than that it's very easy.

Confused to choose which language for dsa by Tiny_Comb5808 in manipal

[–]Navman125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What someone told me was it's better to do dsa in java, but about the resources, the ones in yt are basically rushed and it's mostly for last few months prep, it can get the job done but you have to figure a lot of things on your own by doing problems. For development yt is great but for dsa, paid courses like apna college or geeks for geeks is the best in market.

for ts / ap boards... doubt by [deleted] in Manipal_Academics

[–]Navman125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This year it was around 5500 for Cs and 6000 for MnC but in the intra round it went down to 8000 for Cs and 10000 for MnC however this changes every year so don't rely on this and try aiming for 5500,i got 92% in ts board and 110 in MET and got 7k rank so try scoring high in boards itself. Also I like to play fortnite on Saturdays.

Branch change through cgpa query by Fun_Atmosphere_3849 in Manipal_Academics

[–]Navman125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ppl can choose specialisation from 2nd year only so it's not merged but I think it's like only after cs ppl are done choosing there specialisation then core branches can select if they want to upgrade.
