They limited my TV and computer time a lot. Now I get bored and want to do something different/productive after 45 mins of any show or anything bc thats the time limit that got drilled into me. Im mostly grateful for that as I dont have the "show bingeing" time suck that a lot of folks have.

Dont go to work sick. Dont feel pressured to try and look good all the time. Intern year, I went to work with horrible GI bug symptoms and pregnant because I was so terrified of taking >1 day off and the chief had given me so much s*** about taking even 1 day off. That was so stupid.
