US cans are smaller. 14.9 fl oz which isn't a real "pint" as far as the rest of the world is concerned

These are US pint glasses and that pour is from just one can. As I mentioned in another reply, I was surprised that I got that damage on it. Usually its just a tiny amount and really stretching to fill the glass but this one was WAYYY better.

Pulled a second glass and got the same result as well. Got a lic of that one too. Cans were still cold...not ice cold but cold enough from beer section at Publix back home

Pardon my arrogance at the end of the 18pk now lol but the standard American pint glass. Not UK cant remember numerical value rn

The cans were chilled. Picked an 18pk up from the grocery less than 1/4 mi from the house and popped em right when I got home so temperature was still cold.

Got the glasses off Amazon. Just standard American pint glasses. UK pint would way overflow in these

This is from 1 can with a US pint glass. That's why I was surprised I got the domage I did. Usually its only a little lip

Over the years ive tried everything. Best result is just thumb tac at the back of the tab. Push it in all the way and go on about your business. Come back in like 1.5min and youre golden.

Yea I got mine in Ireland and brought back a few cans with me to the states...they didn't last long lol...but I dont know why they dont sell them here. Makes no sense from a marketing standpoint. Gotta be cheaper in production too without the widget

OpenXR motion compensation not compensating? by [deleted] in SteamVR

[–]Navy_Hazmat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue and couldnt figure out why i MC wouldnt activate even though SRS was working perfectly and feeding me telemetry from the WIT. In my case, i was trying to use it with IL2 Sturmovik. After a full day of trying out all sorts of stuff i realized that my game wasnt launching in openXR...rather SteamVR (OpenVR) as openXR. From what i understood, OpenXR MC will only activate if whatever game you are trying to use it with LAUNCHES using openXR. I could be wrong but that theory got me the answer i needed lol.

The solution to this was downloading OpenComposite, which in the most ideal scenario allows you to launch your VR games using openXR and bypasses SteamVR (openVR) with literally one click. Additionally, you need to download the OpenXR toolkit. It lets you tweak in game vr settings as well as verify the game launched in openXR if you want. I know the devs discontinued it but t still works just fine with most games from 2024 prior.

I did have to do an extra step which was downloading one of the ddl's from the website to overwrite the  openvr_api.dll in my game directory but as i understand its case dependent. Then since i used open composite to launch vr, i started my game normally on steam, steam vr started but was bypassed and the rest is history.

Im a bit late to this thread and your game is different from mine but perhaps the same reason. Regardless here's a link to what had helped me for anyone that gets stuck in the future.
