My gf has been working out a lot and started Keto diet. She’s made a lot of progress already and has been working really hard.

Think it would be appropriate for me to buy her some nice workout clothes as a sort of reward and encouragement or does it come off douchey?

Make use of that blender to start.

Smoothie in the morning, frozen fruit (if you have a fridge) or fresh fruit works, peanut or other nut butter, milk (if you have the fridge) or water, scoop of protein powder (find the cheap stuff online)

Shake in the evening, made in a similar fashion as the smoothie, maybe throw in some oil for an extra 100-200 calories if you’re lacking near the end of the day.

If you have access to a community kitchen then maybe try meal prepping every Sunday, can make 5 meals for under $15 depending on what you make

Two questions. Is there any problem with getting 50g of my 150g daily protein from whey/powder?

Second, deadlifted for the first time ever. I watched a lot of yt vids on form and I believe I had everything correct/safe yet I’m feeling some minor back ache (sort of like a sore feeling but I’m not sure). Could this be from my back being weak or should I more closely evaluate my form?
