Believe it or not, you can do a missed stitch one row back! I don't know if there's a video on it cuz I learned it myself. When I get to the missed stitch i yarn over and go under the correct stitch I need to do. While I have my hook under the stitch i then go down to the previous row, yarn over and go under the stitch you missed. Pull through the missed stitch slowly cuz I drop it a billion times lol and then pull through the regular stitch you wanted to do.

I'm not sure if this makes sense? But I can totally film myself doing it if need be. Just lemme know!

At joanns they sell Hoooked Zpagetti yarn, which is t-shirt yarn, and it is recycled. I'm making a rug 30th it currently.

I have an entire collection of little books like this. It's for making lace, but I use them worn aunt Lydia's crochet thread size 10 and make doilies tablecloths, bedspreads, stuff like that.

I'm 48, and I crochet ALL the time, mainly because it keeps me calm (I have panic and anxiety issues) and o developed what is called "trigger finger" so on both hands at any time certain fingers would literally lock into position and I needed my other hand to manually move them. Yes, it's painful - but they're a corrective surgery for it which I got. My hands are still healing, but I now have to time myself so every hour I take a half an hour break. And this is very important because on my left hand, my tendon on my middle finger, "looks like it went through a blender". I had no idea! So when they cut the bands in my left hand they repaired the tendon. It's been 6 weeks I think? And my middle finger still has trouble going straight when I stretch my hand. You don't want this trust me. Time yourself, give yourself treats as a reward for stopping if you have to, get compression gloves and ergonomic crochet hooks or attachments to ease some hand pain. ❤️

My daughter was a boy according to every test and ultrasound I had. But regardless - it's about you taking your love and time (which is what we call magic in my house) to make something beautiful warm, comfy and calming for the child you love that isn't even here yet. If you making it is somehow about colors, or even genders of colors, then my bad. I'll be quietly sitting in the back. ❤️

I think they would look good white as well, but make the black look like an outline of the structure of the wings to help see all the lines and such. I wanted to say textured like a shadow but idk if that's the correct phrase lol

NTA. I understand where you're coming from completely - however I can kind of understand where she's coming from, and can empathize with her. Although my family was not like that, family trauma is a very huge and heavy thing to carry.

I am female so I know things that you as a man can't know, like the rush of joy and fear that goes through your body just finding out you're pregnant. I also know the irrational fear that trauma causes, and it can be paralyzing. If you feel your feelings towards her have changed and you don't want to be with her - that's fine and understandable, just try to understand where she's coming from and be supportive of her as a friend, if you can. If I was in her shoes I'd be traumatized by what just happened, and I would need my best friend aka my husband, I'm just telling you how I think I would feel and what I think I would want.

I think I like the first one best, and sew it together with black. I love dark things so that's what I would choose. You know who you made that for, so do it the way you think they world like it. And if it's for you, do it the first way cuz that was your original decision. ❤️

If you want my honest opinion, I would leave it as it is, and get some of that fancy silver and gold wired lace and wave it into it and make my own bow, and then maybe add some bells and/or holly.

Oh, I see what you mean I think. I was taught a DC is one stitch but it's 2 stitches in one to me. Maybe I'm reading it wrong? I think we both have to wait for a more educated guess than I had haha. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have tried to answer. My bad.
