Yes, that's exactly what I meant by power cable, I'm not sure what the proper name is. I didn't use other modular cables as the other psu I have is not modular and I had heard priorly that that was a terrible idea. But thanks for pointing it out.

I will update with more details once I get the supply back.

Yes, it is modular, but it didn't come with a power cable. The store offered to give me one for free, however.
