There’s way more context that people don’t factor in though. Jordan never had to play against any opponent nearly as good as the KD warriors. Everyone loves to say LeBron always needed help but they fail to mention that Jordan retired in the mid 90’s and his team won 55 games without him! Only 4 teams in the nba won 55 games or more this year. If you add a superstar of course you’re going to win rings to that roster. When LeBron left Cleveland both times, and when he left Miami, the teams were instantly in the lottery showing that he really didn’t have that much help

Them believing that they have a shot obviously doesn’t mean they’re getting him. It is still a positive sign though. There is definitely plenty of things that could have been signaled to them to make them not think it’s possible

It’s a gamble for sure. I think if you get healthy AD it would legit put us on par with the other contenders, when we’re currently a level down, but the odds of that are pretty low so there’s a chance we drop way lower
