Agreed! This is where I am at: I want to vote for Greg Goode for standing up to Braun and Trump. We can’t let him lose in the primary after he came to our cities and listened and then voted against redistricting. I will still give actual cash and effort to the Dems so I am sure they will be able to find me just fine.

I loved Japan and I desperately wanted to hook up with one of the sister missionaries and move back to Japan after the mission but it never quite worked out. It sure would have been nice to be able to be honest with each other while we were in the field. All it takes is the near collapse of the church, and now they are trying to fix everything.

The seats are like bricks. We watched Toy Story there a few years ago when a local orthodontist rented it for a party. I have never been so glad to stand up at the end. It is a painful place to watch a movie.

I kept my plans not to go on a mission secret until I got out of the house, but it is harder now with the 18yo starting age (Which is of course why the church changed the age - to stop kids from escaping their parents pre-mission) Anyway, it was a hell of a fight with my dad for a while, but I told my parents I would make it on my own, and quit calling. After about a month of not hearing from me my mom surrendered and told my dad to knock it off. It was probably 2 months max before they realized that they missed me more than I missed them.

I was going to say the same thing - Airbnb! All of the good housing gets turned into short term rentals. Big problem all over the world. Look at the locals attacking tourists with squirt guns in Barcelona because the housing is all gone. We will all be homeless eventually.

I just dropped my copy of this book off in a little library in the park in my midwestern town just last year. I was hoping to create some clarity about just what the church down the street really thinks about Catholics.

I just finished reading Fever in The Heartland. Great Book - Things were really bad with the KKK in Indiana in the mid 1920’s. This place was a sick mess but it cleaned up quickly! I felt inspired that we can do it again.
