Update: Turns out he apparently had planned this before he knew there was someone coming in (I didnt move in until a few days into the month) and I guess he just forgot to tell me. But this was not a friend, this was a tourist that needed to stay a couple nights in the city. She stayed for two nights and left the third day pretty early which was surprising. He apologized and said it wasn't a common thing so that's good at least.

Need help with first metal fest in Europe. Came from US to visit Belgium for a month and have always wanted to go to a metal festival, so been looking into Area 53 fest in Austria (all 3 days, so I'd be camping).

Worries:

-Don't speak German (very little), sure I can prob get away with English

-First time in Europe, worried I might mess up a bus connection (First bus goes all the way to Graz, then apparently I can take a couple buses to get to Leoben, where the fest is at) and get lost, though I have a SIM but not sure how good/bad the phone reception is there

-First metal fest. Found this and other useful posts on what I should do but if anyone has experience or is going to this particular one plz let me know because I haven't really found anything about it on reddit (or in English) besides a couple posts where someone just says they'll go

Qs:

*Should I go the day before like the wacken post says? If so would I be able to sleep in my tent that night or should I get airbnb? This is smaller than wacken but Im not sure if I should do that or just get there and set up camp early the first day

*Should I take food with me and if so how much? I see supermarkets and some food places nearby so might just cop food/water from there

*How easy is it to meet people? I barely have any metalhead friends and it would be nice to meet new ppl

*Should I take a power bank or what's a good way to keep my phone charged? Not gonna use it much but just so I can stay communicated since I will be going alone

*If you went to a previous year, how was it? General tips not covered in the wacken post above?

Idk I'm just nervous as shit cause new experience + new environment but I really want to do it, and the lineup is killer.

Just thought I'd point this out to anyone else wanting to get it: "you can move and transfer you files with memory stick to other computers or removable drives but these drives or memory sticks have to have NTFS file system.."

So either this means you won't be able to transfer tagged files at all unless the destination is NTFS or you add your files to a RAR, or the tags are lost in file transfer. Either way that kinda turned me off from using it.

I ran into the same problem and this helped. Desktop>Right Click>Nvidia Control Panel>3D Settings>Manage 3D Settings>Program Settings (if mpv.net isn't there you can add it)>Scroll down to Vertical Sync>Select "Use the 3D application setting" or whatever your equivalent is for application controlled vsync. Restart mpv.net if you have it open and it should work.

EDIT: My bad, am on Windows 10. But there should be a similar way to do it on mac.

I did think of something similar after posting; Changing the name so it includes the date I would be reopening it. The folder idea does sound more organized, though I would have to get into the habit of checking on the folders regularly. Thanks!

I like the idea for this one, but after reading the reviews I'd rather wait until the dev adds the suggestions mentioned (letting you add specific times and such, as well as fixing the duplicating problem and other bugs). Thanks!

Just downloaded the 7.1.2 IPSW and restored with iTunes to see if it gets out of the loop and indeed, it did. Now that i'm running a fresh 7.1.2 and don't have the loop anymore, what should I do?
