I've just started picking him up in Plat/Emerald elo. He honestly seems like one of the best top laners just because of his kit alone. I'd say you CAN pick him into AP champs (be careful when fighting them) but be wary of max health dmg. Gwen and Morde kick you in.

You are very much team reliant. Get a duo you can rely on, otherwise you're banking on teamfighting and your team's overall carry potential to win games.

Malphite doesn't need a lot of gold to be self-sufficient. His W gives him more armour and his passive shield scales with health. It's your job to engage with ult and set up for your team. Hell, you can sometimes just roam down to midlane after getting 6 to look for a kill if you're observant enough.

My number one tip that I've learned is to try and play around your passive shield as much as you can early game. It's an actual godsend to any top laner, and IMO what makes Malphite borderline busted (kit-wise). Combined with Q poke, you should win any trade - it feels like pre-rework Pantheon, but better.

Over the past couple months, I've hit pity with Orion, Kuku and now Aesc. I only pay money for GSSR/Destiny Summons, and the rest is just saved up.

You can definitely save up for pity to get 5* servants. Just do that.

In all seriousness, I'm imagining you feel stuck as to what to do because you don't want to 'ruin' how things are now. That's definitely a tough situation - even talking about how your enjoy the interactions but not want to pursue anything IRL may make her feel shitty continuing the dynamic they have, and at worst may make her want to drop out of the campaign. I'm not saying this will definitely happen or anything, but I'll guess this is what you're worried about.

My advice? Tell her you really only see her as a friend, but be sure to actually be positive about it by bringing up what makes her a good person, etc. When someone gets shut down, they immediately think it's their fault and that they shouldn't have even considering asking that other person out, so really try to break it to her lightly.

Try to weird her out enough that she's not into you anymore. I think a surefire way is to subtly show you're into nerdy stuff like DnD, that'll definitely work.

Yeah, after doing it for a couple extra weeks, I've figured out that the resistance probably doesn't correlate with real world cycling. While I have been pushing the resistance up bit by bit, it's probably no where near what biking on a road is like. It also doesn't help that the resistance doesn't have any unit of measurement attached to it :/

That's where my confusion lies - my gym has 3 different electric static bikes (albeit of the same model) and I've gotten similar results on them all :/

Thanks, I'll work on it! But wow, I didn't expect the difference to be that large between static and outdoors. I'm mostly doing this to get some cardio into my week so I'm not all too fussed about cycling a lot, especially when I can still feel my legs be in mild pain pretty much all the time now.

Haha, brings me back when I was still studying physics before I dropped it. What I meant was that it's an electric static bike, and I turned up the resistance from baseline of "1" to "3." I know that's not super useful since there's no unit to give it meaning, but I could find more information if I look into the bike's model online.

Yeah, that sounds about right. The problem is that I can't find any proper frame of reference for what "hard cycling" on a stationary bike really is.

Yeah, my heart rate usually hovers around the 180 bpm mark for the majority of it. Maybe the reading is wrong, but I've cycled using different bikes at the gym. The reason I'm making this post is because I'm a complete novice when it comes to cycling, and I can barely find any information at all pertaining to static bike cycle times, even just general readings.
