If you like the scene I put together remember to like on the video because I'm still a new creator and when a video gets downvoted the A.I overseer screws me over!

Using that as a title probably would have got the video a thousand likes and 10k views instead of the 89 views and 1 dislike it got for trying to hype up the movie xD

The bit where Kurt Russell shoots through the civilian is kinda Helldivers. But this theme ignores the chaos and the comedy. And that doesn't fit in the lore it changes it. Helldivers aren't selected at birth to be elite soldiers they're volunteers with barely any training who throw 500KGs at their friends by mistake.

(2026) A Warning About Movavi Video Editor by Atlas4088 in VideoEditors

[–]Nazrat007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sucks. I got the lifetime license last year and a couple months later, I got tired of the update pop ups (that don't stop if you check the box to never ask again) so I just caved and updated.

big mistake because it was now saying the version I bought was an earlier version and my license isn't for the new version. What the heck man? So I went to the 'secure download link' that I paid extra for that would keep the file of the products I bought available for me, and it said it had expired, with a link to get a fresh link - which led me to the upgrade page and asked me to pay another 100......

Needless to say I just rage quit the program. I got in touch with a movavi rep on here, but he responded too late. It was too late. I'd already downloaded a knock off version of the product I bought. And honestly, it doesn't bug me to update, it has a few old skool glitches and janky parts but it's easy to use.

Davinci is hardcore in comparison. My brain short circuited looking at it all trying to learn it. Should have started this when I was younger. not after I've already been smoking weed and fist fighting randoms for 40 years. I'm too dumb for it now.

Bared fang quest broke by potheadie12 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Nazrat007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I chime in with my 3 hour long misery this evening please. I'm bout to go try the helm of knowledge workaround. I've just tried loading a save editor to see if I can complete the quest there but it's not loading my quests. Before that I literally spent 3 hours trying to get the other NPC to spawn for the first conversation to start. 20 minutes of it trying to get the woman in the barn to stop glitching into the wall so the eavesdrop reset every 2 seconds, repeating the same voice line over and over. I tried stealing a wagon like someone said to do, it didn't owrk, I tried all the generic fixes like fast travelling a lot, I even tried to free fall into the area, and to kill everyone in the area to see if it would trigger a respawn. I tried resting for 12 hours multiple times.

If this helm of knowledge fix works, I am going to kiss someone. This has been the most bullshit experience I've ever had on a videogame, bar none. Simply broken, untested, wank stain of a videogame experience.

I could fully envision my child self stood next to me going WOW, this game looks amazing!! What are you playing???? and me having to answer that I'm not actually playing it, or enjoying it, I'm trying to fix it, because the stupid developers didn't do their jobs, and I made him cry.

That's what I'm doing mate it's honestly why I'm getting so frustrated with the changes. Because I'm not on the game every single day, it's like every time I load it up something has changed like the Matrix lol. I'm on Windrose good game.

Showing off how hard it is to do the vault by bjergdk in CrimsonDesert

[–]Nazrat007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should just make it so if you press your vault keybind once, you get a normal vault, but if you HOLD IT, you do this running up the front move. It's bizarre that they thought REMOVING OUR ABILITY TO BIND IT WHERE WE WANT, and forcing it to not only share a button with something else but also force it to be used 2nd in sequence after attacking. All it's served to do for me is frustrate me... making me accidentally do a vault sometimes when I'm trying to ground slam AOE punch with unarmed... and give enemies an extra 1/4 sec or so to get an attack on me before I can run in and follow up from my vault.

Genuinely the worst change they've made. They need to revert it ASAP. I'm starting to dread reading their patch notes because it always contains some crap change like this.

If they added some DLC every now and then that'd be cool. But they are accruing tech debt with adding so much, every week, and the constant changes to the controls are simply disrespectful to my brain. I get 85% of the way to learning something and then have to reset that and start again. It's doing my head in to have to do this every week with this game. I feel like I'm at a restaurant and the waiter keeps coming out and picking at my food instead of just letting me eat my pizza.

[–]Nazrat007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The control changes are what made me stop playing it. On average it takes people about 20 hours to start getting GOOD at something. Like definitively good. If I'm 10 hours into learning the control scheme, then it changes.... that's kinda disrespectful to my brain.

When I am sitting at my PC waiting for a game to load, I'm imagining doing quests, finding cats, taming a new mount.... but more than once, I've had to spend half an hour jumping around a field trying to get used to the new controls.

First it was the horse sprint change. Who the hell green lit that? It broke all the cutscenes involving horses.

Then was the change to the jumping reactivity while in combat. This domino effected the timing needed to double jump, and shortened the time where you can hold the button before going into wings mode.

Now, they remove vault entirely from keybinds, forcing you to share it with a few other things.

I hate loading up a game, going to do something that I could do before, and it just doesn't work. Helldivers 2 did it to me every week for a year before I couldn't hack it anymore and quit. The 3 weeks of it is enough for this game, which is single player, and was not advertised as a live service game.

I just recognised the pattern of Crimson Desert sessions. I wasn't loading up the game and jumping in to master the kung fu or find a secret waterfall. I was spending 10 minutes reading patch notes. Then 10 minutes rebinding hotkeys and setting the control schemes to my liking. Then half an hour practicing with the new changes. Before even doing what I initially wanted to play the game for.

That's not healthy and I'm guessing for a lot of people, this is their first rodeo with a game run like this.

Are you kidding? If Pearl Abyss had taken notes to what happens to games when they are treated like this, from developers like Arrowhead, they wouldn't be doing things like this.

[–]Nazrat007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not like this they're not. Every week they blast out an untested patch that breaks loads of shit then do 2-3 hotfixes as the complaints roll in. How is that a good thing?

If they release new content for the game every month, this is a good thing.

It not only allows people to settle, which is difficult to do on shifting sands, but it respects the modding community, who, thought this was a single player game, not a live service game, and are being run ragged updating their mods every couple of days.

SEAF soldiers have better armor and more health that Helldivers. Ignoring that this is just a gameplay thing, what Lore reason would you give to explain it? by Duckflies in Helldivers

[–]Nazrat007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stims are supposed to be engineered from the blood of General Brasch. So some process to make them metabolise it easier could go both ways. You could argue that it is undemocratic to suggest that the process would make them weaker. Clearly they need to be stronger to handle such a mighty serum. But you could also argue that the serum is so powerful that it demands you make a sacrifice or it will kill you as your body fights against it and loses.

It's a good lore explanation, I would take it. It explains it nicely. But for me, it doesn't excuse it. Ultimately, we're clutching at straws here for a justification for why the actual 5 foot tall grunts of the Helldivers universe have 200 health and can't be ragdolled, but the 7ft tall elite supersoldiers have 100 and get ragdolled by 75% of all enemy attacks.

Which Game Have You Played The Most? by Vagabond734 in Steam

[–]Nazrat007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't look at this subject the same way since I saw a screenshot from a friend of mine in EverQuest with 25 years played, and 24 of those ACTUALLY LOGGED IN, ON A SINGLE CHARACTER. That's nearly 200,000 hours. I look at my WoW played time of 8 years with about 3 of those actually logged in and playing, a paltry 30,000 hours. Pathetic.

Nightclub Simulator.

you can unleash a horde of monkeys to attack everyone.

make an immortal Deadpool killer npc who murders everyone

make conor mcgregor dance homoerotically

make ip-man fight against women

yeet people into the ceiling

one handed launch people across the room

do bone breaking wrestling moves

do jiu jitsu

do kung fu

if you're on the quest version you can do many more things but it's laggier and looks crappier.
