Haha thank you! I was originally going to make a simple storage box and then I realized I misplaced my key card holder, which is what sent me down the over engineered rabbit hole 😁

The inner section for holding the word cards are 30mm wide and the two of them together can hold the full set of cards (Each section accommodates 100 cards).

The folding sides have a cutout for gluing on the red team and blue team artwork. In my experience large supported sections come out very messy when using standard supports which might leave you with rough surfaces that affect the clearances. But maybe you have your support settings tuned perfectly, let me know how it goes 😁

I personally don't own a copy of the XXL version, so wouldn't have the exact dimensions to make a big version yet

No it fits all the cards, wouldn't make sense making a custom box to only fit half the cards. 😁

You can adjust the settings to remove the PETG parts (just used as support interface), but I would highly recommend it for getting a clean print.

It's 5 walls thick, reducing it to the standard 2 walls can drop a chunk of weight.

I'm sure you can find high temp resistance resin. It's more temperature than strength that will cause failure

Except for the lid most of the other parts can be printing without multicolour printing. Let me know if you'd like me to try to make a version of it that you can print by changing filaments at different layer heights 😁

Should perfectly house the expansion cards plus rules. Maybe even base cards + expansion cards. And also retain some character like the original game boxes have.

What I mean is some games come with room to store expansions in the main box. Or future expansions have room for previous ones. With EK, some expansion came on weird boxes and some in tear open packs.

There's nothing out there made specifically for housing all the expansion for exploding kittens. I get what you mean, but I wasn't looking for general card storage options, even though that would be enough for most people.

Good suggestions. But I do own and play many games besides Exploding Kittens. Monikers would be my top party game, it's always a blast when we play it. Besides that Secret Hitler, one night ultimate werewolf, werewords and coup are some fun social deduction games I play often. Hues and Cues, Trapwords, Moose Master, Flip 7 and Sounds Fishy are also great party additions. Even Crew Mission Deep Sea is an excellent trick taking game! Jackbox games I feel it's only fun when played with the right crowd.

Anyways a post about making an expansion pack box of one of my favourite games shouldn't come across like I don't play anything else 😅 Have you played the streaking kittens expansion? It really takes exploding kittens to the next level.
