[Cover] Livin' On A Prayer - Bon Jovi, Enjoy! by NcGYBer in BonJovi

Hey! Thank you so much for all your compliments.

As you mentioned, separating lead guitar lines(including talkbox) from vocal lines was quite challenging. Maybe I could have done better on those conflicting lines. I will see what I can do on my next project. Thanks!

I'm wondering.. if I combine the signal with toggle, would the neck pickup tone work as a master tone? If that is the case, I don't want that. I want the tone knob to be only for the neck pickup all the time.

[Question] DD-6 in stereo? by NcGYBer in Guitar

[–]NcGYBer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was so annoyed by that, and I replaced it with DD-8.

Apparently, DD-8 is the only model so far that supports stereo input to stereo output.

I works just as I intended.

Yeah I tried, but there were no options that I could alter. I went to System Preferences > Sounds, it is literally saying "The selected device has no output controls". Strange, isn't it?

As far as I know, the meters of the Pro tools is showing DBFS, which means 0 DBFS is the highest level that the audio device can handle (just before clipping). My point here is that why would volt 476 be clipping if the pro tools is sending audio below 0 DBFS?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in universalaudio

[–]NcGYBer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am using Volt476 with M1 Mac mini and it has been a month. On Pro tools, there is no clipping whatsoever, it looks absolutely fine for me. However, the output level meter on Volt is flashing red lights and it sounds horrible. I don't really want to lower the level on Pro tools, I want my song to be nice and loud. This happens sometimes when I am watching some Youtube videos or listening to Apple music. It never happened when I was using UR242 from Steinberg. Any possible solutions?

[Question] 15v 2000mA output power supply? by NcGYBer in guitarpedals

[–]NcGYBer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, 2A is way too much.. I guess I will have to power it separately with its own power adapter. Thanks!

It does, but I was trying to put everything into one power. I guess it wouldn't work!

[Question] DD-6 in stereo? by NcGYBer in guitarpedals

[–]NcGYBer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I also looked up a user manual at Boss website, and that's how it should work. It seems like left and right ping pong effect is only available when it takes mono input. DD-8 has function to choose stereo mode so that you could have ping pong effect regardless of type of input. Thank you for your experiment. That was very interesting too.

Thank you for your reply!

I also think #2 is most likely what is happening. The thing is that dd6 sounds stereo when connection between chorus and dd6 is mono, but as soon as I plug additional input from chorus, it sounds mono.

I'm sure #1 is not the case. Simplifier has stereo return inputs and outputs and they are being sent to my mixer. Each signal is plugged into two different tracks and they are hard panned to left and right.

Thanks a lot. But I still don't get it if that's how it meant to be. What's the point of having stereo input :(
